😂 Bc there is no pressure on 150 rms watt subs n small subs at that plus that amp isn't even at 1ohm it's at 2ohm so the amps at half power.. clean install tho 👌

All of those are 4 ohm single voice coil each sub. I think each pair is wired down to 2 ohm final on each amp. So 1000w total for the four subs

Never thought I'd like a trunk rattle but the lid is so large and the lows are so low that it just fits - Pun intended! In case no one has, remove some stuffing from the rear seat's back; Bass will flood in!!! Right about in between someone's shoulder blades - Yeahhh...😀😀😀

I had a G body 1982 Oldsmobile Cutlass supreme with 4 12s zuez with a built in sub sealed enclosure just behind the rear seat. Had them 4 12s inverted and hitted hard. Still had alot of trunk space. With 4 12s is enough no need for 15s. 12s have more kick than 15s. 15s don't have kicks when is more designed for concert.

Had two of the yellow ten inch kicker comps in sealed box in a acura. I wasn't very impressed,they sounded ok. Swapped them out with 2 10 inch infinity reference series subs. The difference was VERY noticeable!!!! The infinity sounded so much better,especially the low end. I'm not knocking kicker, they make great products. Just sharing my experience with them.

It's unlikely that a person who has $80 subs is going to suddenly switch over to $650 subs. He also doesn't have the power to run them. Those subs also prefer to be in a ported enclosure, not sealed.

Do you mean strap two amplifiers? Different manufacturers use different techniques for combining their amplifiers. You'll need to look at manual for your amplifiers. You'll need to wire all the subwoofers up so that you have a single positive and negative speaker wire. The positive wire is going to go to one amp and a negative wire is going to go to the other amp and then the two amplifiers will be wired together.

There's two main ways you can wire up your subs. You can have a 1 ohm load or a 4-ohm load. If the two amplifiers you're using are each stable to 1 ohm, then strapping them together means they'll make rated power at 2 ohms. Since your subwoofers are going to have some impedance rise, your best bet might be to wire everything to a one ohm load.

No manufacturers entry-level subwoofers can take much power. If you want something that can take some power you have to move up to the medium or higher level line of subs.

​​@@jimjones3287 I'm not sure how your dividing things up. By total number of model numbers or by production numbers? Maybe 80% of all sales are entry level products. IDK, I'm just guessing. They are the largest car audio company, so they sell a lot. Kicker has at least 4 levels. Entry level, middle, high end and now, ultra. You buy whats appropriate for your needs. If the guy in the video wants entry level, that's fine. If you want a Solo X and Warhorse amp, that's fine, too. They have something for everyone. 👍
