You’re right on point sir, thanks for the insight.

Love these! I would personally exchange bulgarian splitsquats for front-foot elevated lunges because you can get really really deep on the target leg. And I love love love jefferson curls to make sure my low back stays strong and mobile.

I could definitely see FFE lunges as an alternate for Bulgarians. I like Bulgarians more because I feel they build my balance/stability more, but you could definitely do an A/B day with FFE lunges or a superset. Jefferson curls are a good option although I haven’t done them in a long time. I do barbell RDLs a lot and emphasize the stretch at the bottom which I suppose is similar. Thanks for commenting!

Try one arm inverted rows. Gets the grip and tendons stronK

Ooo that’s a cool recommendation I’ve never done those for sets. I’ll check it out!

I don't do Judo, but this was an interesting video nonetheless, as someone who lifts for strength in the gym, and has done a couple of BJJ classes.

I’m glad to hear that! I recommend more functional training for almost everyone. I used to be a competitive powerlifter but I feel so much healthier now using these more athletic exercises

Great video! Do you ever do one arm dumbbell rows instead of one arm cable rows?
@J3LYAАй бұрын
I like dumbbell rows too but I feel like I get a better stretch with cable rows. Could be mental or could be because it’s not limited by the dumbbell hitting the ground. Either way, they’re really similar so if you prefer dumbbell, I say do that!

@@J3LYA Thank you! I use my other arm to brace on my weight bench while I'm doing rows.

@@Icarianbrothersame here, but I still feel like I can’t get the same stretch in my lats. Could totally be mental

@@J3LYA You put together a great workout that hits the overwhelming majority of muscle. It is good that it can be done with a set of adjustable dumbbells. What do you do for cardio? Do you run or jump rope?
@J3LYAАй бұрын
@@Icarianbrotheryou can totally do this with just dumbbells and a bench. For cardio, I like to run. I’ll mix up slow long runs (60 minutes) with faster shorter runs (30 minutes). I also get cardio in with judo, and when I lift I try to limit rest between sets to keep my heart rate up.
