William Welch Rippin ya hair apart would not still be considered truly freeform any more, maybe ya he can split some if HE chooses but splittin all would be so dumb n ruin tha uniqueness of his locs! Congos are a symbol of strong hair they should be encouraged more and will form stronger locs overtime

​@@JayNabii I completely respect the strength symbolism behind the growth of congos, however with Gunther's hair type having such large congos at this stage of his loc journey could lead to extremely thin roots. Two iconic freeformers Bob Marley and J Cole went years with slight separation. Not twisting or using products is considered "freeform", and whats dumb when factoring in the health of one's hair?

Did you crochet the ends? I’ve never seen freeforms blunt like that at the ends on a hair type like yours so quickly. Loose curl patterns tend to maintain a coil at the end before it blunts off. How often do you wash a day to get it like that?
