My mom died suddenly, she seemed perfectly fine the night before and by the morning she had passed away at the hospital a couple hours after she was taken there, it was from a heart attack according to the doctor. It definitely messed with my head and for a long time, i was in denial so much that I would come home from school and I’d call out for her thinking she was gonna appear out of the laundry room or kitchen like she always did, I had barely turned 17 when she passed away. I felt terrible for that man who had his deceased mother in bed still, he was so far deep in denial that he started to hallucinate, I truly hope he’s doing better now.

I’m such a quiet introverted creative intellectual, kind of a hermit…very selective with the content I choose to view/listen to, And Joel, I have to admit how much I love Let’s Read, and your voice, and the guilty pleasure/excitement I feel when I remember it’s Monday, Wednesday or Friday night. Now that I finished the third story, that guys an idiot. He’s right u can’t touch a made guy but u think that going after someone that’s either a friend of his or a source of income won’t have any repercussions just because he’s a civilian? Lol even if a guy isn’t made if he’s a good earner or in some way close to a wiseguy whether family or friend you’re gonna face retaliation. The only option he had was if he had his own connections and then he can go to another made guy or if he’s lucky someone even higher, either in the same family or one of the other families throughout ny or wherever u know ppl. But eve then unless u r a huge earner or very well connected the best u can hope for is a sit down and even if u win odds r the best you’ll get is a little compensation. Unless this guy seriously messed up or has problems with his own higher ups you’re never gonna be able to have him touched. If this guy was a tough guy from the neighborhood he shoulda known who he was dealing with and how things worked and the only assumption I can make is that he was a complete moron.
