I do use them and you're right, easier clean up - I love that. I just think it easier for me to "show" you the food in the crockpot without the liner so I don't use them when I'm filming. Thanks so much for watching

Everything looked wonderful. I'm going to try out the chicken and stuffing tomorrow evening for dinner. My husband won't eat anything with cheese in it. So I have to modify almost everything that I fix. I guess he got lucky with me. I can eat cheese, but its not my favorite ingredient. I've been binge watching your channel for about a month or so and I have really enjoyed them. I don't really comment a lot. I have a prayer request. I hope you don't mind me putting it here. My brother, David, is in liver failure. This has affected his kidneys, which he is now at stage 4 kidney failure. He is waiting for a liver transplant. We are praying that he gets a new liver soon. His kidneys should get better once he gets the new liver. I really pray that he won't need to start dialysis. Thank you so much and may God bless you and your family in all that you do for Him.

my Hubcap and I are OTR truckers and that box of chicken is an amazing help. We can eat chicken sandwiches or chicken salad on crackers and we have a lunch box cooker that I can add a can of mushroom soup and some stove top. It cooks while we are driving. It's the best flavor.

First of all I love Hubcap, and I am stealing that name for Patrick now LOL And I am hooked on the pulled chicken now too, sometimes we need convenience and I really got my money's worth from that box. I have had companies reach out to me to try the lunch box cooker but I didn't know if that was anything that any of my viewers would be interested in so I didn't try it out. Sounds like it is a great item, I showed it to Patrick when they contacted me and asked him if he thought he would use it, but he didn't think he would. But now I wish I had went ahead and gave it a try. Thanks for spending some of your time with me, thanks for keeping America running and be safe out there.

@@InTheKitchenWithMommaMel if you travel a lot or drive for work its great. I even made grill cheese in it. Just plug into a cigarette lighter and go. The lid locks down well so no problems with spills. Although you do need to place it on floor bc if you go around a curve super steep or too fast it could tip. We never had it happen but I can see the potential lol. The only down sude is that the foil pans for it are an odd size and kinda spendy so what I do is line it with heavy duty foil ... no sink to wash it in anyway hahaha

I am a chicken breast too. When I go to Sam's Club, in the prepped refrigerated section, a lot of the time they sell 4 cold rotisserie chicken breaststroke, and 4 leg/thighs from the day before, for $4.

I bake my bacon 1 lb. at a time. I put it on a sheet pan with a rack. I'm also picky about bacon! I have a special plastic bacon keeper to keep it in the fridge. The hardest thing about that, is that I often decide I need a cold piece of "my bacon jerky" as a snack! I heartily agree that carrot chips are not potato chips. That chicken and stuffing crock pot recipe looks delicious!

Hey Mel! Hope all is well with you and your family. I make a version of your crock pot chicken that I think you would enjoy. Instead of using stove top stuffing, use a bad of Pepperidge Farm stuffing crumbs, I like the cornbread best, and a pack of dry ranch dressing mix. Other than that, it's the same recipe. You can add any extra herbs or seasonings that you would like, but it is not necessary. It's just a little change up from your recipe. I think you will like it. All of the recipe's look amazing as always! Hope ya'll have a great week ahead and God bless!

All of these recipes look SO Delicious and I Love how easy they are to put together. I Love Easy with Alot of flavor. Because of you I've become such a Big fan of using the Idahoan Instant Mashed Potatoes. I doctor them up as you do and they save Alot of time in a pinch. They've come along way with that convince. Thank you so much for your kind words and as bad as I hate to say it, the bagged salad just really doesn't stay fresh for me either after it's opened. I have the best luck by just cutting my own lettuce, and I wash it a couple times, then get it REALLY dry ( I love my salad spinner for this) and I store it in a gallon size ziplock with a paper towel on at least one side of the lettuce inside the bag. And it stays fresh for a real long time that way. Hope this helps and thank you so much for watching!

Off the chicken subject, but I tried the tomato sauce in my taco meat. It’s a game changer. Delicious. Just had some nachos Second I tried the cream cheese in my egg salad and loved how it helped keep it together, plus added a creaminess. So I went an extra step and added a pat of softened butter. Yum. So I took that and used same idea in my potato salad. Try it. I think you’ll agree

I’ve made the Caesar chicken bake, but we diced up the breast and mixed it all together with the sauce and served it over potatoes or pasta. I bet it would be good over rice too!

The pasta salad looks delicious just a little bit too much Parmesan for my liking it’s really salty and those shreds look to be pretty big. I probably would add tomatoes as well and leave out the croutons but I love the idea I’m definitely going to make that!

I'm a limp over medium with my bacon 🥓 😋! I hate it crispy & burnt. It's terrible burnt 😆! Some people like it that way though. I want it cooked but not too well done cooked. I grew up eating it this way n just love it. I ❤chicken 🐔 meals! I always buy a cooked whole chicken 🐔 from Ingles and they are a great price usually $6-$7bucks but they are bigger. Walmart has the best price on whole cooked chicken 🐔 like $4/$5bucks but they are a little bit smaller I have noticed. (Sizes are on packaging) They are so delicious and cheap. Perfect to shredded or chop up 4 alot of great recipes. I buy at least two a week and freeze the chicken. I like the white meat breast too. My family likes the dark meat so I just buy a whole chicken and separate the meats...Then do a half n half on the recipes so everyone is happy.

I make a similar recipe to yours with the stuffing. I just layer mine. That’s my favorite. Also, I have got to be doing something wrong. My boxed mashed potatoes are gluey. Help? I’m better off making my own from scratch

I know the gluey texture is caused by starches, it could be the brand. I've had some like that before too, and just damped the flakes and let them sit a few minutes before you stir them up, maybe that will help

Is a convection oven the same as an air fryer? Your oven looked like a convection oven. Do you like it better than a regular oven? I’ve noticed that Lowe’s advertises some of their ovens as air fryers.

Ok, here's what I've read but I'm no expert LOL. Yes, my oven is a convection oven but you don't have to use it on convection unless you want too. Most of the time I don't, I do when I have multiple things to cook on both the racks, the circulation of the air makes them all cook evenly and not burn on the bottom or top. I use this alot around the holidays when I have multiple casseroles and want to cook them all at once. I've read that a convection oven and an air fryer are the same thing, and they make big oven sized basket type racks (like most air fryers have) that you can use in your regular size convection oven. I have been thinking about looking into it but then I got to thinking about where in the world would I store it LOL So that's all I know about this subject...
