Hello 👋🏽😁How many dates did you add to your almond milk?
@sassyasme12362 жыл бұрын
@@lovinallmyppl 5 or 6. It all depends on your level of sweetness. I would start off with 4 then work your way up. I always soak my dates first. Easier to blend that way and less chunks

For the breakfasts, I would have protein via leftover beans on top of a salad. Also with the dates, I would presoak those in some hot water to plump them up and soften them up for easier blending. Also as a diabetic a lot of those fruits would be no-nos. though for diabetics I found hot oat bran works wonderfully instead of oatmeal. less carbs and more fiber.

What's the difference between making a date paste and date syrup? A few dates has more sugar than a couple teaspoons of cane sugar.

Can someone please explain to me why you couldn't use " date honey" as you can eat the date whole. Date honey is nothing more than dates pureed with water. Also, you can puree dates into your smoothies. Wouldnt that be the same? Thanks in advance.
@TheBarePantryShow11 ай бұрын
Samantha girl, the churches make things up on the fly is my best answer. None of them was there with Daniel. I personally feel that this fast should help you get closer with God and it should be so much about if you mess up with the food.
@stevierae20544 жыл бұрын
This is so confusing bc I’ve seen Daniel fast guides from the actual website saying it is okay to have or recommend to have in some smoothies date honey, agave and or honey bc of the natural sugars it has. Fruits have some too 🧐
@leeleeb74132 жыл бұрын
Stop following a guide and start following the spirit of the Lord. That’s the point of a fast! If God causes you to feel like it’s wrong, then don’t do it. If it’s okay, then do it. That’s it! Daniel’s fast was seriously spirit led

Only homemade nut milk, otherwise you're stuck with water only or fruit juice so that list is really wrong. Also you should be having more veggies than fruit.

Miranda Taylor people do it differently, some are more strict than others. For instance, some don’t use any condiments, like salt and pepper. I think it’s all about where your heart is.

@TheBarePantryShow3 жыл бұрын
Oats is a grain and it is allowed on the Fast. Check with your church to make sure you are compliant with their plan.
@changes6495 ай бұрын
I am not sure about the almond milk and the dates. The almond milk is store bought, so it has preservatives and emulsifiers in it. If it were freshly made, it would be different. In the book of Daniel it says that he did not eat any pleasant food. Even though dates are natural, it's very sweet. It would constitute as pleasant. The point of the fast is for the food to be plain, not pleasant. So that during the fast, the focus is God, not the food.

I only followed what was the list that the church I attended gave me. Do what makes you feel right. After all everything is based on your faith right?

@TheBarePantryShowАй бұрын
@@Myork2014 I have no connection to this fast. The church I attended at the time I did the videos set forth their rules about the fast and that’s what I used to make the videos. It seems like you know more than enough how to do it so do what you feel is best for you. My videos are for entertainment purposes only. I have no affiliation to any church or religious beliefs about this fast.

Exactly. This is a FAST. A sacrifice. Doing without anything SWEET. It is unbelievable the amount of time and energy ppl spend trying to find alternatives to "sugar". Just do mainly vegetables....raw, cooked etc and some fruits. Must u have breakfast? Try fasting till evening, water is allowed of course and have a bowl of salad and call it a day!
