I have just done this once and my Quadratus Lumborum pain already feels so much better. Amazing, thank you so much. I am going to add these exercises to my daily stretching routine now.

Love the way you compartmentalize the approach to rehab the QL - first relax it using the foam roller/ followed by gentle stretches under self body weight/ concluded by combined strengthening and stretching with dumbbells!!! Man a bed frame fell on my lower back and has stopped my life. Its been 2 years and im still dealing with these low back pain and side pain. Sleep is killer. I hope this help . God bless

Ask your doc for ambien, it's been a game changer for me. Shoulder pain (and sometimes low back strain) kept me from falling/staying asleep for years.

I pulled a muscle on my right side months ago. I thought it was my oblique, but it's my QL that I have problems with. It affects my hip as well. Should I start with lower lb weights when strengthening to build the muscle to avoid another injury?

After one year of seaching, i found this vedio related my pain. Same like this i have pain right side of back while sitting poor posture. It does not rediates down my legs, but front of abdomen rediates. I have MRI report and x-ray report but all are normal.And i have vedio x-ray also normal. No one doctors could not understanding my pain. Doctors just says sciatica. Can you say about it what type of pain i have?

@@pieter4610what have you tried maybe we can all help each other. I have been to a kidney Doctor, gastroenterologist, orthopedic surgeon, and all day there is nothing wrong. I am going to start doing these stretches. Oddly sometimes what helps temporarily is doing stomach vacuums but it doesn't last long is not consistent

What is the muscle just medial to the QL that runs parallel to the pelvis. That is where my pain is and it comes on when I have to bend over to lift something, break down gear, etc. Just on the right side.
