Your body is talking to you. You just have to take some time to take o deep breath and a little time to relax and you do not have to worry about people. And remember you are not going to die and you're not going crazy. It's normal

Same, I remember I used to think EVERYONE felt like this and then I talked to multiple doctors. I've found some ways to cope but there's nothing you can really do to 'get rid of it' and I see so many people self-diagnosing on the internet and comparing passing angst to GAD and it really sucks :[ I hope everything's going well for you

Yes! & dizzy All day everyday with headache also my stomach really aches (got crohns disease) I feel like a elastic band is round my whole body squeezing me & feel nauseous all the time its horrible but I know its all in my head and just physical symptoms if this horrible disorder! Hope you catch a break love from Scotland 💙

I’m there too we have different sources but for me it’s a pills won’t help you you have to find a great therapist, spirituality, and find ways to lower the adrenaline and the cortisol that is destroying the life.

This really helps thank you. I recently learned I was misdiagnosed with ADHD when I actually have General anxiety apparently and have been having a hard time trying to figure that out. Thank you!

I think that's more just passing anxiety (from someone with GAD) but if it gets severe it might be SAD. You might want to talk to a professional about it because I can't diagnose everyone but I hope everything's ok

@@-lululovesart Again, this might be passing anxiety- based on your age (never say it online), you go through hormones at different stages and this may be one of those stages where anxiety is more prominent. However that does sound a little more severe even if it is just passing anxiety so I recommend some Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which you can do every day and only takes a couple minutes. Costs no money at all but for me, it helps a lot. You can look it up and find more details about it :]

F, i have GAD and of my focus fears is brushing my teeth- It takes me 10 minutes at least per brush and it is incredibly stressful becauss it's a behaviour I absolutely must do every day.

I was diagnosed with it but I don't have any of the symptoms. And if I was told that it would lead to a diagnosis I would've told them EVERYTHING that was going on but now it's too late

despite having just about all of the symptoms i am going to let this thing control my life because i’m too anxious to ask for help or tell anyone. my friend, who is the only person i talk to about this, tells me i should see a therapist. and i trust her word because she has a therapist (or three) but i’m still pushing aside my needs and have not asked for help yet.

Y’all idk if this is the anxiety disorder or not, but like I do get trouble sleeping EVERY DAY and like I normally cry in my sleep and stuff. I do get really nervous around people I never met and every once in a while in the night, my parents see that I’m in my bed cuddled my knees and like crying an hyperventilating, and I didn’t calm down till like at least a half hour

Thanks. This is a great resource. The mindfulness guide "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels is also helpful. Anxiety is manageable.
