I've been eyeing the Porcelain Stormtrooper all year. But you're right, so much new stuff coming out, and yearly toy budget has been exceeded. The Snowtrooper 2pk was my first set of figures for this year also, and I think 1 grail a year is more than enough 😅

I love the porcelain pattern stormy. He got a lot of hate when he came out, but he’s such a unique piece and the pattern is beautifully considered in design. Lots of little details like scarif on the back of the helmet. Mine lives in a display case in the kitchen.

I had to get that Snowtroopers set for the sniper rifle. Gave it to my Rebel Marksman lady. Also, Snowtroopers are the most competent troopers.

Hi TK, Snowtroopers are a gap in my collection as well; I’ve had my chance and let it pass, to my regret. I have the deluxe Luke since quite a few years, and I’m really happy with it. Luke in black has long been the Luke in my mind’s eye. The extras are worth the price of admission alone; that’s why I never really was interested in Mando Luke. Also, Mando Luke isn’t based 100% on Mark Hamill, and he’ll always be Luke to me! Cheers

The snowtrooper pack you may never own it but they’ll show up in the mando/ grogu movie so rest assured they’ll reissue a new set or single snowtrooper for sure. I’ve been wanting to get snowtroopers for a long time and another pair we are owed is brothers Edrio and Benthic.

A very interesting topic for a video. Was fascinating to see which ones you don't think you'll collect, and why. 1) The porcelain trooper. You seem to like it enough to want it, but not for the huge price. For me, it's what you called it "one of the gimmick troopers". Fine for those who want to collect these kind of wild designs, of which I think the collectors who want to own something most others don't will be a big percentage, but it's definitely not something that attracts me. 2) The deleted scene Luke. He's a similar case. Because he didn't appear in the final film then he's more of a rare collector piece. His head sculpt is questionable, too. He seems to me to be the perfect example of how it doesn't look too much like the actor until you get it in exactly the right angle (the pic at 4:30) when suddenly it looks exactly like he did. I think sculpts like that tend to give weight to the idea that the sculptors tend to work from a specific photo. Here his hair and gaze is superb for the moment on the skiff but taken from any other angle the look just isn't right. 3) The rogue one vader. Completionists of either Vaders or Rogue One will seek him out as he's really good. For me, hmm. It's a no, simply because he's Rogue one which I have no interest in collecting. 4) Snowtrooper. Well, I certainly would if I could. I want anything Hoth. My grail is the probe droid, oh how I want that so much, but then next in line is a snowtrooper then Luke in his tauntaun rider's gear.

Yeah totally agree on all points. Interesting what you said about Luke and the sculptors working off a specific photo. This definitely rings true, there's often figures that only look spot on from a certain angle. Mate that probe droid is awesome isn't it!! Would love that too! Cheers for watching mate 🙌🏻

@@MindFiend I have the 1/6 Sideshow Probe Droid that was first issued about 10 years with the snow base and it fantastic. I'm sure Hot Toys will release its some time but it sucks to wait. It will most likely be superior to my Sideshow version so hang in there. 🍻

I used the brown robe thing from Endor Luke on one of my two Tusken Raiders to make them look different to each other 👍🏻

China cup stormtrooper and bronze gold silver chrome version's were an easy pass. The Luke I did get along with the first version. Rogue One Vader was a must purchase at the time. Had to adjust the under tabard to go over the upper chest armour. Is it the best? For me no. I have the snow trooper two pack again was a must as I had the tri pod cannon from Sideshow and that bad boy needs two troopers.

Yeah tempted to try and get the sculpt separately but I always like to have the full set, but then it's a bit too pricey to warrant a purchase! So a bit of a catch 22 for me! 😅

Didn’t know that about Rogue One Vader’s chestplate, a bit odd. To me, Kenobi Vader (using undamaged helmet and chestplate, obvs) looks a lot like R1 Vader so not worth getting the latter… even if he did light up properly!

as someone who collects mainly Halo mega but also the vintage collection (alot) Lego star wars (medium amount mostly clones) Black series (mostly clones and mandos) Halo Jazwares (i love halo) I just cannot see myself collecting hot toys.......... BUT I said that about black series and TVC and i GO CRAZY ON THOSE NOW LOL

I have the Endor deluxe Luke, as well as the Jedi robe one. If I remember the shop had him for £50 more then the standard, and as I brought R2 aong with him I was cheeky and asked for a deal ;) just found the pic, Standard was £300, deluxe £350 discounted to £320 for me 😉

Great video. Honestly, the Porcelain Stormtrooper is the only one that I have zero interest in picking up. I still haven't bit the bullet on the standard Snowtrooper because of the price. I think that I might pick up the two pack if I found it at a decent price before I found an affordable standard one, but so far that hasn't happened. I have so far passed on Rogue One Vader because I have the Vader/Tarkin 2-pack and it's essentially the same figure, but I have seen RO Vader going for some decent prices since the release of the Kenobi Vader. I might pick one up eventually because I don't think you can ever have too many Vaders in the collection. I grabbed the standard Endor Luke because I found one at a good price before I could find the deluxe version-- just like I did with Endor Leia. Just like her, I kind of want to display Luke in multiple looks with his Jedi outfit. I have the original wearing the hooded cloak and pointing the palace blaster, I have the Endor version wearing the poncho, and I'd like the deluxe version to display as the deleted scene. Sadly, I might repeat the standard Endor Luke eventually because I really want to also have a Deathstar II Luke on display with the new ROTJ Vader and Emperor (unless they do another retooling of ROTJ Luke).

Yeah pretty much the same here. Although I think the Vader is different to the Rogue One version, different helmet and robes over the armour etc. But yeah pretty similar!! Good point possibly picking up another Endor Luke for the Deathstar look!👍🏻 cheers for watching 🙌🏻

Not a fan of those gimmick troopers so definitely not getting those. Like you I own the ROTJ Luke and the Endor version.. those are the looks I remember him by, so not interested in that deleted scene look. Vader… mmm don’t see the point in having all Vaders. I own the ESB Vader and waiting for the ROTJ one to pose without helmet.. for me that is more than enough 😅 And the snowtroopers… i was very fortunate to buy that two-pack a few years back for only €550 😅😅and they will never leave the collection (specially for that price😂) Snowtroopers are my childhood favorites. Now hoping for Galactic Marines. When will you get Sideshows Jabba with throne ???

Guess that the ones I'll never own, just because I don't want them, are going to be any sequel trilogy related one, also any from the Obi Wan Show (Except for Obi Wan or Vader themselves because, well, they're Obi Wan and Vader), nothing at all related to the Acolyte, Boba Fett show was horrible but did have some cool figures like the Enforcer droid (kind of battle damage K2-SO). And probably not many from the Ahsoka show (Cause didn't like it either), except from Ahsoka herself or the Kintsugi Stormtrooper that looks really cool (The death trooper looks cool also, but too pricey). From the ones you showed .. I would really love a snowtrooper ... The Rogue One Vader is awesome, but I already have so many other Vaders that now, I don't miss it. Same with Luke.

Yeah if you have no attachment to some of those shows it's understandable you may not want those figures, I get you 💯 I wanted to like the Acolyte, I gave it a chance but I've had zero interest in rewatching it which I've never had with any other Star Wars show or movie. 🤣🤣🤣 that cracked me up when you said the snow trooper's jet pack would make him go down not up 😂 you've got an interesting point! I think the perfect Vader is the return of the jedi one but with the head and cloak from the empire version. It annoys the hell out of me that the ROTJ vader's cloak doesn't touch the ground. Great video dude, would love to see you do one on what sideshow figures you don't have but would collect if you got into sideshow.

I absolutely love the Rogue One Vader, (he's actually my favourite, despite the non-light up chestplate), but yeah, the new ROTJ version totally does away with any 'must have-ness' for anyone who doesn't already have him. I can totally understand not justifying the need for the Endor deluxe with having the standard version, but that ungrimaced headsculpt and windswept hair are nice to have! 👌 As for the china teacup trooper.. Yeah, naah! 😅😅 Great vid, mate! Will you be doing an end of 2024 collection tour?

The endor Rotj Luke is by far the best rotj Luke imo, the fatsuit has been removed to give him proper pre-portions and you can pop the mando/bespin sculpt on with the Rotj hair giving the the ultimate Luke

You definitely have got the best 1/6 Vader in your collection ( the latest one) comes with so many options. That snowtrooper pack is expensive, but the single deluxe one I have seen it well drop down in price on the secondary market. Less than what I paid lol 😊😅
