Lovely tips on improving listening... I adore your videos and your presence in total, you're being really helpful to me to remember and practice English language, which I've being learning since I was 6-7 years old! In Greece, it's a common practice for children to start learning English at a young age, in order to have a degree from Cambridge or Michigan universities as soon as possible, usually before even finishing high school! Anyway, I wish you have a really happy life in your new home! Greetings from Greece!

#4 is so true.. Whenever I speak with people who speaks English, I always listen and observe in order to understand and to kind of analyse their English level.. If my level is higher than them, I speak more slowly and clearly.. If my level is the same as the other person, I speak normally.. Otherwise, I stare at the speaker's mouth and focus my attention on what he/she is saying so I can reply accordingly.

As an Italian mother tongue I have to admit that watching Friends in English is far more entertaining and funny than the Italian dubbed version. Here in Italy there's a huge dubbing tradition, but Friends has been a fail for me and many other viewers. The original version is the best for its irony and the overall feeling that you get. Perfect for improving both listening and speaking skills! I'd also suggest Game of Thrones and Sherlock for upper intermediate learners xoxo

Sometimes, even I have difficulties to understand what my own people are trying to say.
