Was walking through a truck stop parking area in front of the fuel island, watching the trucks exiting the pump area. I tripped on an improperly completed asphalt patch (raised approx 1 1/4” from the surrounding asphalt.) The work was done by employees. I tore my rotator cuff and bicep tendon. Had repair surgery, which failed, resulting in me going through a reverse total shoulder replacement. I have had 3 MRI’s and about 60 physical therapy sessions- another 4-5 months of therapy is forecast. Have been in near constant pain since the fall (over a year ago,) haven’t slept even one night through due to pain, will require annual x-ray, need antibiotics any time I go to the dentist- even 2 times a year cleaning, permanently disabled, permanent disfigurement, ave less than 1/6 use of arm at present, forced to retire and sell our business (wife and I grossed $300,000.00 annually.) We have legal counsel but was wondering if you have a ballpark estimate of a possible settlement? Thanks.

A car open me the door and i fall i hit my knee om the handlebars of my bike, i did not felt nothing and let go and thats was huge mistake and because my stupid mindset if i did not get hurt is ok bro id i get hurt then i sue u and thats mistake. A Federal Jury just awarded a man from Nepal 111 million. This is in Minnesota. Evangelista the model asked 50 million. Note: the dollar has lost 99% of its value. A million dollars is closer to 3.2 Million today. Some of these cases attorneys may never see as affairs are taken care of in private.

While it's true that individuals with fewer assets may be less attractive targets for lawsuits, being poor doesn't absolve anyone from the legal or moral responsibilities associated with negligence.
