Me too. I started eating raw vegetables before each meal and this keeps me from getting insulin spikes from carbs. I cut carb portions in half. I have lost 18 pounds in 5 weeks. If I have a small dessert I have it directly after my meal. I learned it from a biochemist her show is called Glucose Revolution.

Hi Dr, I drink a cup of warm 2% cow milk plus a pinch of nutmeg before I go to bed at 10pm, so that I can sleep. Sometimes I also eat half a banana and drink milk to sleep. Is it bad? I must have milk to sleep. What else can I do to sleep instead of drinking milk before bedtime? Thank you Dr.

Dear doctor, when A1C returns to normal does a person with mild NPDR retinopathy still in danger from the disease progressing?
@SugarMDs4 күн бұрын
Even with a normal A1C, there’s still a chance of progression, but good control greatly lowers the risk. Other factors like blood pressure and cholesterol also play a role, so regular eye checkups are key to staying on top of it!

I started Advanced Glucose Support a week and a half ago. I am AMAZED by the results. My average BG was sitting firmly at 137 (spreadsheet) and I check about 5 or 6 times a day. Now after 1 and a half weeks of using your Advanced Glucose Support I am at an average of 95! OH and when I started the Glucose Support I also stopped one of my prescriptions meds (Pioglitizone 30mg) altogether. My Dr. has been trying prescription drugs for years and I have never been able to get my morning fasting avg below 151. That avg is now 104. Dr. Ergin should get a Nobel Prize.

I was recently surprised with my diagnosis of having 7.5. Shocked. I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke, I exercise & lift weights etc. Where this came from blew my mind. So I will further tighten up my dietary life and get rid of all soda, carbs and other "evils". I am 5 ft 10 245lbs. I bench 225 etc. Much of that is muscle although I could stand to lose 20 lb. Otherwise I eat pretty healthy rarely eating fasy food and never frozen dinners. I will let you know how I do in the next 3 months. Weight lifters normally prep before going on stage. I will be doing a different kind of prep. I would like to be there for my wife and daughter. I will see you in 3 months.

@gangoffour6690 Жыл бұрын
@@lorraineclements7345 HI Lorraine, New Hampshire here. I take 10 mg. Glipizide (1 or 2 ) per day. The Rybelsus is only 3 mgs once daily. I switched from 2,000 mgs of Metformin to the Rybelsus about 6 months ago.. My doctor wanted me to raise my dose of Rybelsus but where I used to get readings of 200 or above in the morning it now runs around 100 which I am fine with. Readings are always higher in the morning than later on in the day.. I think that is true for most diabetics. After having 2 toes amputated I stopped eating all sugar, potatoes, white rice and most refined carbohydrates. I pretty much drink just bottled water and my Mojo Coconut Water. Good luck and stay safe. Also even a little bit of waking (maybe a 1/4 mile daily) does wonders for blood sugar levels. Peace from New Hampshire ✌.

Exactly. I have dawn phenomenon in the morning. I found the mild slow jogging at home for 30 -60 minutes will get my gulcose down to 100 or below before going to bed, however, when I got up in the next morning the fasting glucose would be higher than the previous night, it would be 110 or more, the number would not go down until I start eating something. I just took the advanced sugar support for 3 days, I already see my fasting glucose drop under 100 in the moring. However, if i didn't eat breakfast, the glucose start climbing even without eating anything. I wanted to do intermittent fasting as it was said it will help for insuline resistence, so I have been trying to skip breadfast for longer fasting. I am glad to find this video exactly states the same situation I am having which I also learned skipping breakfast might not be a good idea. I also have fatty liver which also explained the reason. Thank you very much, Dr. I have been pre-diabetes for 10 years, I never take any medicine but have been taking a lot of supplements and exercises, but the number is getting closer to diabetes every year. I haven't seen any supplement could be so effective, almost immediately you will see the differences. Amazing!

I keep trying to "Intermittent fast" by waiting until supper to eat. But you're right. I can wake up at 115-125. I don't eat, it keeps slowly rising. I finally eat ANYTHING - heck, a tablespoon of cream in my milk - and it suddenly creeps down (though not below 100). I've been trying very hard to do this "naturally", but not having any luck. WHAT I HAVEN'T CHANGED is something you preach: consistent sleep! Is it worthwhile to take metformin, or will I gain weight on it?

Lowering A1C levels is so important for managing diabetes, and this video provides some great tips on how to do it. One thing that has really helped me is incorporating more fiber into my diet. Foods like oats, chia seeds, and beans are high in fiber and can help improve blood sugar control. Another tool that I've found helpful is Gluconize, a natural supplement designed to target erratic blood sugar overnight. It's made a noticeable difference in my A1C levels and I highly recommend giving it a try. What are some strategies that have worked for you in lowering your A1C levels?

Your blood sugar reading of 100 mg/dL is in a healthy fasting range, but an A1c of 7% suggests that your average blood sugar over the past few months is higher than ideal for good diabetes management. It might be useful to track your blood sugar at different times of the day (before and after meals) and consult your healthcare provider about adjusting your diet, exercise, or medications to bring your A1c closer to target.

Some of the steps that you describe represent complete fantasy to me. Going home to dinner? There is no dinner for me at home, unless I made it myself the night before. Dinners in my life come from a restaurant. And this lunchtime image that you show of a salad being created in a residential kitchen. Again, who is making that salad in the middle of the day, at home? It wouldn’t be me?

I take my insulin shot at nite before I go to bed and when I get up a lot of times my sugar is still real high even if I don't eat anything I have been increasing the dosage I am always hungry and I constantly going to the bathroom and I don't sleep well at nite cause I keep getting up for the bathroom

I find that a small amount of carbs before bed can help even though that sounds counter intuitive. For example a slice of toast. Don't drink tea or coffee after 6pm. Eat low carb throughout th3 day. Use a blood glucose meter to find out which foods work best for you. Good luck🎉🎉🎉

Eggs and a protein drink can be an excellent low-carb option to help manage blood sugar levels. Keep up with these healthy habits, and feel free to explore more options for diabetic-friendly meals! If you’re looking for more breakfast ideas, we’d love to hear your preferences or any questions you may have about incorporating new foods. Stay healthy!

Thx Doc for this interesting video. Just let me add that statistically if you lower your A1c from 8% to 6% it's a decrease of 2 points of percentage (which is really significant ) and not 2% (which is negligible ).

I have been intermittent fasting since November of 1999. I do 20/4 with a 20 hour fast eating only between 4-8 pm. My morning sugar is still 130-150. Then under 120 by 2 pm. I’ve lost 35 lbs. I need a free 90 day supply of your supplements and I’ll report back. 100%.

`- Here is a simpler and better way than the doc's way simply eat some peanuts in the morning and they will destroy sugar and carbs all day. If you don't believe this for the ones of you who love ice cream but don't eat it get you a bowl of ice cream and put crushed peanuts all over the ice cream and then check your blood sugar you will be surprised to see it is still normal so think about it. Peanuts take a long time to digest so they are all day sugar warriors working for you around the clock. But you should take your supplements or medicine that you normally take they seem to work with the peanuts.

In other words, eat way more healthy. There are some good strategic tips, however, such as eating a healthy appetizer and then waiting 30 to 45 minutes to eat dinner. And have breakfast soon after waking, but do not eat anything you'd really want to, like a bagel or cereal.

Gluconize appears to be a product that can aid in controlling lower A1C levels, which is a critical factor in managing diabetes. A1C levels reflect the average blood sugar levels over a prolonged period, and high levels can cause several health issues. The fact that Gluconize claims to help manage A1C levels could make it a valuable tool for people with diabetes.
