Symptoms are confirmation of poor health choices continuing to be made. Insulin resistance is a modern day event created by the food cartels when you consume their products. The real problem is personal responsibility resistance. Adoption of sincere health responsibility to yourself and your partner and your insulin resistance will magically disappear. I’m 76, my wife of 47 years, have both had this philosophy for many years and we have zero health issues including the dreaded zero insulin resistance.

You've been ketoduped. Last time I checked the benefits of keto for blood sugar control were transient and the illness came back with a vengeance. What comes to weight loss in keto. It's been noted that the WL is initially good because it's decreasing your muscle glycogen stores and releasing water weight. This obviously improves blood pressure as well and happens without calories deficit. But for fat loss keto doesn't help because it's still calories in/out. At least this video isn't all that bad. But keto as it is currently pushed is very detrimental to people.

I used to do keto. Later I found out it's just a dangerous diet. The problem is saturated fat and harm it does to your body. Recently I put up my youtube channel and I'm doing plant based diet on it. I discourage anybody from trying low carb.

I want to eat red meat but the advice is confusing, I don't need to lose weight just control blood sugar problems and have started Keto diet. I am keeping my carbs to well under 50g per day so why can't I eat red meat/saturated fat as I thought fat became fuel? Up to now 'some' of my symptons like blurred vision and thirst have died down but I just can't seem to get my energy back, I have started taking Berberine and also wondered if 'Creatine' could help?

If I'm on 'Keto' diet and I'm consuming well under 50g of carbs per day, why cannot I have red meat/saturated fat? I don't need to lose weight just lower blood sugar and fight my insulin resistance, I thought while being on Keto fat is not a bad thing ?

I follow someone on YT, she was Keto before, but does low carb now....I am learning from her on making foods with better choices, like, I love pancakes, but I use almond flour to make them now. I am trying to do my best to eat better for my diabetes and heart health.

I am drinking only lactose free 100% fat-free milk, which has no sugar contents in it because the lactose is gone so it is fat-free also this milk is it good for me? I have diabetes and I don’t drink whole milk or low-fat I drink only milk fat-free lactose free milk.

Grass fed has more nutrients, if you mix any fat with carbs and consume more calories than you need your going to gain body fat.

Am a diabetic type two on medication NOT insulin. I have tried the low carb diet for a couple days now but my blood sugar levels are very low at night around 5.3 before bed and I already have had all my calories what should I do to keep my blood sugar levels up while fasting 16+ hours a day and exercise as well .. ?? What should I have before bed time to last me all night ?? . All replies welcome much appreciated

the thing i don't get about keto is how people are using it for weightloss... to me keto was a diet for skinny people with no appetite to gain weight (the calorie density)... if you want to lose weight you just go on a high carb/fiber diet... from first hand experience... you wake up have alot of oats, eggs and a piece of fruit like grapefruit... you will not be hungry for hours... i had to quit that diet because it made me skinny... i now do mostly keto with lots of veg and meat

I found FAT SECRET app very useful as it tracks carbs and sugar as well as calories. Basically it shows macros. Its free and easy to use.

I tried Keto and I gained weight and cholesterol goes up, even my HBA1C from 5.7 to 6.4. I tried others and didn't go well. Still balanced diet works for me + exercise. from 6.4 to 5. My fasting blood sugar from 8.4 to 3.9

I am T1 D 40 years I have tried keto but it makes me feel very weak. Many times in the beginning it made my BG go very high even though I was eating only protein, fat. Niw I di not bother. I have modern CGM and Tandem pump and I eat a healthy diet. My last A1c was 5.8!

I did keto for 8 months and ended up weighing 98 pounds. Efforts to gain haven't succeeded, and my A1c stayed at 5.8. I have IBS and keto exacerbated my symptoms. I don't know what works for me. 8

I've been doing a modified keto meal plan. I have to modify it because my glucose levels get too low, and I start shaking. I usually go about 9 hours on 2 eggs 3 sandwich slices of ham 1oz of cheese and 4 slices of bacon. For supper I'll make 2 hamburgers on buns. Due to several injuries the highest impact exercise I can do is bicycling, walking and swimming. I try my best with what I can work with. When I go outside on my walk I bring a bucket and grabber and pick up trash along my route. Might as well knock out 2 tasks with 1 trip.

I just used TruliCity but I think I screwed it up because for some reason I lifted my thumb off of the plunger right away and not after 7 seconds. Will I get any effect from it. Or should I do a second one now or just wait till next week

I know people who are on the carnivore diet have been for months and they are NOT diabetic… explain that one!
