Using the technique of identifying specifically FOUR things we LOSE when we go low carb, was really helpful to me! I didn’t know about the electrolytes and happened to have experienced a major mood swing (I already have a mood disorder.) yesterday after a morning of sipping black organic decaf coffee. When the above are combined with the extreme prolonged heat we’re having here, the electrolyte issue becomes urgent and critical! Thanks. ❤️

I do make my own electrolytes with cream of tartar, Himalayan salt, ACV and lemon juice, but I’m going to try something like LMNT just for the occasional treat. Nothing wrong with a bit of variety!

I appreciate the info in this video. But when it comes to getting a free sample and paying only the cost of shipping I balk. That is a way for the vendor to get your credit card number and, in some cases, get you into a monthly shipment plan unless you specifically direct it to cancel. That is always a no-go for me. So I will find other ways to replace electrolytes.

6:00 "It is also a good alternative to alcohol." TBD 9:40 "The average carb intake is said to be around 250g per day." The latest CDC estimate for carbohydrate intake is around 47% of the diet in the U.S. That sets the average caloric intake at around 2,128 kcal. I'll bet that the actual average calorie intake and the percentage of carbohydrate intake are actually higher.

I know you previously endorsed Trace Minerals electrolytes, which, like most other electrolyte products contain Magnesium, Chloride, Sodium and Potassium. I see that LMNT ELECTROLYTES do not contain Chloride. Why not? Why did you switch from Trace Minerals to LMNT? Love your entire program and trainings! Lost 30#-Thank you.

Magnesium - {Natural Vitality]Calm powder available at amazon or food stores like Whole Foods. Add in NoSalt - find in the seasonings aisle at your local grocery - all potassium - 1/4 tsp with tablespoon of Calm powder in 32 oz or larger water bottle. Add in water flavoring drops, keep in the 'fridge to sip at - great way to restore electrolytes lost in low carb diets

Add Redmond real salt and no salt to your water
@caraziegel76523 жыл бұрын
of course the problem is that salt doesnt have ALL the chemicals your body is losing. thats why a standard recipe given to 3rd world countries is a liter of water, a handful of sugar and a pinch of salt. some 'home made' recipes include lemon juice. So most electrolytes have sugar, or artificial sweetener. The reset capsules are recommended a lot, but they are pricy and have caffeine in them (except the nighttime formula which i think has melatonin)

Can you recommend a good B vitamin supplement to help boost energy during the transition period? Thanks
@markbartholomew20163 жыл бұрын
I recently started using Nutritional Yeast to supplement my B vitamin complex. Nutritional Yeast has been used as a B complex supplement in vegan diets for years because meat is the best source for vitamin B. Turns out, I now use it in many of my savory recipes as a flavor enhancer. It has a nutty, cheesy flavor that I have really grown crave... or maybe it’s the vitamin B!

I love dr Eric Berg also, I went cold turkey with sugar/carbs in May and have effortlessly lost 21lb. How much time needed so that triglyceride level decreases on a low carb diet ?
@briangreen31033 жыл бұрын
You will see reduction quite quickly. Two to four weeks will show significant changes. Also, often HDL will increase so your Trig/HDL ratio is very much better, and this ratio is a strong predictor of future CVD risk. Also gradual lowering of HgB A1c and blood pressure lowering.
