Classiest response video! Wasn’t a huge fan of the way Alex portrayed the situation in the video especially with his huge following and the fact you were such a huge part of his channel. Maybe it would be different if you were anonymous or weren’t a content creator but... ya. I’ll quit my rant. Love both radiant reptillia and emerald scales. We definitely need more companies doing what you all are so I’m glad there are two:)

I love colubrids. I’ve never been into ball pythons at all. I think my next snake might have to be a white corn snake :-) I watch both of your guys’ KZbin channels. And I like both channels. Sometimes business partners have to split and that is OK.I think both of you have handled it fine and neither of you should have to explain anything to the KZbin world. But I do admit that I am glad you guys are still friends at some level.

For the first half of the video: Very interesting! I honestly couldn't care less if I ever "own" an animal with a morph. Klaus (my 'normal' ball python) is the most wonderful snake and people that can't see how beautiful he is are just blind, in my opinion. That being said, I am always fascinated by everything that has to line up for morphs to happen. The science of it is fascinating and they are pretty to look at it. As for the second half of your video, I'm sorry people can't just mind their own business and that you have to dedicate part of a video just to put rumors to rest. I never got the impression that there was bad blood or that you were the villain in some comic I didn't realize existed. I really wish people could just chill and stop making drama out of nothing. Business partnerships are often dissolved over differing opinions. It doesn't mean you guys are waging twitter wars and going to divorce court. *sighs

Yes, technically it is true, but still feels weird to me. Maybe I am wrong to say this, but the reptiles on your website are literally more expensive than they would be from a breeder. I don't see how rehoming a rescued animal for a breeder price makes sense. The ball python was listed at $400. Even a pacman from was listed as $50. Black eyed lucy ball pythons go for like $300 from breeders and pacmans go for like $20. Can you help me understand please..?

Sure! First off it depends on where you get your animal. I have seen some black eyed lucys for as much as 600, as well as some for as low as 300. I payed 40 for my personal pet pacman frog, and it was not a fantasy. Secondly, I must price on the higher end BECAUSE I work with rescues and rehomes so much. It means that I am not mass producing anything like a breeder does, so the profit margins on each animal are lower. I cannot rescue this many herps for free, its taking up more time than a part time job at this point. The animals need homes and if I want to be able to help them I need to also make enough money to put food on my table and support myself. Thirdly, after explaining why I attempt to price the way I do, let me explain why I can do it with a clean conscience. My animals are breeding quality, or better depending on the breeder we are comparing to. I may not have as much info on their extended family backgrounds, but each and every one is in superb health, while many breeders will sell undernourished or thin animals. Additionally I go lengths to ensure all my animals have enriching and proper enclosures, while many big breeders keep all their animals in huge racks with little to no enrichment and many other issues. Hope this helps you understand!

Maybe you should bring the reasoning behind your prices up in a video. @snoopy dubination I think you and I disagree on basic premises. I don’t think its wrong to up-charge based on color, even for breeders, because it took more work to produce the animal. Breeders are the ones that set the prices and therefore the demands. I just insert myself into the world that already exists, and charge similar prices so I can actually support myself and continue to rehome as many animals as I can.

I ran across this channel on accident- I had no idea you had a youtube, man. for the first part of the video: I love white animals- I'd love to get a corn snake like that! they're in my top three morphs, I just simply can't with how much more expensive they tend to be. :,) white beardies are also pretty cool- if I wanted a lizard that would certainly be up there, but hypos are where it's at. for the second part: I'm glad you addressed all this. I admit I was one of those people that thought some of those things. not nearly as passionately as other people apparently do, but to a certain extent. Now that I've heard your response to those comments it does make it a lot more clear! and it certainly makes this all sound even more silly. All I can say is after watching your video on how to remove snakes from glue and then this one, I feel like Alex (GoHerping) made a mistake posting the video he did. Even if it was unintentional, I feel that he needs to address the fact that you are receiving so much backlash from his fans for no reason.
