Biggest takeaway - 1) When prospecting on the phone your mind is not your friend, it is there to protect you from your fears. Overcome your fears, overcome your mind, and prospect, prospect, prospect. 2) Align your behaviors with your goals and your mind will follow. Your attitude effects how you view the world

One of my main fears is the fear of the unknown, coupled with the fact that my voice tends to crack randomly. So if I get into a situations where I don't know how to answer an important question, and my voice ends up cracking, not only is the person on the other end going to start judging, but the people around me will too. I work in an office where the people around me have relatively zero issues talking on the phone, so I always opt to send emails instead of calling. It's crippling.

Perhaps try to remember each call has no idea if this happened once or 100 x that day . Should it happen. Say excuse me my voice cracked a grab a drink of water and carry on. Who cares what your co workers think really?
