my little interpretations) the main meaning of all four words is 'useless' but I think of them as following notions. :) 소용없다→can't help it, stop bother, usually used when the person or an organization that one is dealing with is stubborn. 쓸데없다→most broad meaning out of 4 and of course most similar to 쓸모없다 쓸모없다→no use, usually with objects but above all, people say this phrase to blame or criticize other people such as 쓸모없는 놈, 쓸모없는 놈들 or something like "이 아무짝에도 쓸모없는 놈 같으니라고" you cannot use this kind of form with other three words 부질없다→more like 'pointless' than 'useless' it is similar to 소용없다 but the difference is that the most common use of this word is a short form like 부질없다~다 부질없어~ 아이고 부질없다 etc I actually didn't watch the whole video so my explanations could be in it.

Not really used to describe anything abstract. 2. 쓸데없다 - pretty broad nuance. This is mostly for unnecessary actions / notions that will _always_ stay unnecessary or pointless, unless there's an unusual exception. 3. 쓸모없다 - used like the phrase 'waste of space'. Something / someone that could have been making itself useful, but isn't. 4. 부질없다 - used for saying something / some effort is 'a pipe dream'. Used for thoughts / actions that are useless because the fact that the results won't lead anywhere is being forgotten. This is used to describe things more abstractly (cue the philosophical debate of 'is there any such thing as truly meaningless effort?)

So 아이고(Aigoo) is similar to "geez" in English, it’s used to show frustration while 진짜(Jinjja) can be used either as a question or a statement, either way it means "really". So they’re not quite similar.

Kenny Jones Piquero well i am not that much fluent in english, but i am gonna try to explain :) We do not use 소용하다 Maybe you wanna say 사용하다 ?? It means using sth,also 이용하다 has same meaning. 사용하다-> it sounds weird when you use this words into person. On the other hand, 이용하다-> you can use this words like 친구를 ~에 이용하지마( do not take advantage your friend of sth)

Hey I got a question. Lately I noticed something when it came to the particle 의. I heard 어제의 나 in some lyrics and it always sounds like 어제예 나. So I was wondering if you pronounce 의 differently after a vowel?

Here 의 is the word showing possession or 'of'. Here it's 'yesterday's me' So when the word 의 shows possession it comes at the end of the word and it is pronounced as '에' eg: '나의 집' would be pronounced as '나에 집' But when the 의 comes as 희 in any word or in anyone's name... It's always prounced '히' or if the 희 comes after something the h sound will disappear and sound like '이' And when word starts with '의' it's pronounced as it's actually pronunciation eg: 의사, 의자, 의무 etc Hope it helps... And Even i'm learning so you can refer to more sites for more accurate information...

I'm always trying to pronounce it better and originally, and of course it has it's own pronounciation. But many people actually doesn't care about it too much. And also it doesn't cause so huge confusion on almost conversation- except some of particularly case. So I think you'd better study about any other things, it will be more useful. :)
