A tight posterior chain and especially tight glutes can cause a lot of trouble to the hips, knees and especially the lumbar spine or lower back. In this video I look at several different ways to stretch the glutes and discuss how to find what the right type of stretch that works best for you.
There is no such thing as one "best" exercise or stretch that works for everyone. We are all unique with our anatomy that what works well for one person will cause problems in another. In this case it is wise to have several options to explore so you can find what is going to be just right for your body.
I always say the best exercise is the one that delivers the best results with the least amount of problems.
