Your pond level is too close from the water surface to the dirt. If you want a better pond, it should be 4 feet tall from the dirt to the water surface. And some algae bloom is a sign that you need seaweed from the bottom of the water surface where it gives off natural oxygen and plenty of good microbes to thrive over the bad ones. As for the purity of the pond, there is a guy who has the natural formula to purify rivers and oceans. He's popular from NasDaily. You can do research on him. He's Japanese.
@JackyMan223 күн бұрын
Ngl, also a little bit of poop can purify the pond as it contains nitrogen and phosphorus.

Guys I used Aluminium Sulphate in swimming pools in Australia for 10 years or so and had great success mixing the flocculent in warm water and pouring it into the pool. This method allows the mix to spread over the surface and as it cools it will then do its magic taking all the suspended matter to the bottom. With pools we would then vacuum all that sediment out to waste. Hope this info helps. Cheers Greg

You folks have quite the Family. When you do a Project at home ,, All of you jump right in, All in. You are Amazing, to know everything you do, if you don't, you research it and get it done. Chris and Kevin…you should hold a sweepstakes to subscribers to spend a weekend in the Cube, Sugar shack or the expanded main cabin for maybe $1000 dollars or maybe $800……I would pay a $1000 to be there for maple sap season….FYI

Wow....kevin has loss a lot of weight. Hope that he is ok. Chris, I must tell you that we were watching the video where you talked about deers being carnivous a couple of days ago. When you said if deers could only hunt with weapons....that was hysterical....we are still laughing, just having the vision of that in our heads...too funny. Deer hunter. That pond is going to be so cool.

You may try adding some native water plants as well as some beneficial bacteria. Both of those options will help with both water clarity and quality.

Can you put snailes and little suckers to help with the water for parisites
@TheWoodedBeardsman18 күн бұрын
Suckers might silt up the bottom and kick up the clay. I thought about that and minnows but I don't want any carp accidentally get in there and ruining it. So need to be careful. Most other fish don't care, but trout like clear water.

I am loving the beardsman re-edits. I have been watching since I was in college during the mid to late twenty teens but the normal videos have too much long talking without scene changes for my kids to stay interested. They love the re-edits.
