Thank you Syndicate, You gave me an idea for lore for my regiment. The world Kharesh, half-industrial half-desert world, which has vast reserves of copper and other metals that come with it like silver. Being a fringe world however, it is not a planet of strategic importance and it is left mostly to it own devices and due to severe lack of water it relies on mining of ice belts in the system. To keep mining operations safe, they maintain high number of drop troop regiments that are adepts at fighting raiding parties and other, very mobile forces. The pride of its military is squadron of gifted (stolen) Baneblades that guard the home planet along with a fleet of small escort-class ships. Due to abundance of silver, the vechicles along with flak vest and carapace armour are coated with thin layer of silver.

Am I the only person that noticed the contradiction at the beginning of this video? There is a statement that stated (quote) "since the term 'death world' is not an official imperial classification", then a few seconds later, there is another statement which said (quote) "most desert worlds that have been settled by mankind are officially classified as civilised worlds, feral worlds or even death worlds". So which is it? Is the term 'death world' an official classification or not?

I have a dessert world concept valarak life there is like living in a mad max movie crazy action scenes included there are very few permemnet shelters And everyone is constantly on the move aside from the people at the top of the food chain who have access to the limited under ground reservoirs of water and oil which aside from men (the oil) is It’s only export who Evers in charge is in constant flux as desert warlords duke it out the imperium really doesn’t give shit who’s on top as long as they pay there tives and aren’t suspected of heresy The planet is officially a death world and has more than ernt that title very little life can exist there as warter is limited and plant life is almost non existent imported algie is its main source of food and oxygen there own unique veryent of the imperial cult believes the emperor is a god of machines and as a result they often but heads with the macanicus over who is correct and who is dare they say heretical there imperial guard regiments specialise in mechanised infantry infact they have there own variant of the chimera that is rearly seen off its home planet because of its ramshackle nature used mostly to transport its PDF from place to place what ever its flaws it’s cheap to produce and almost soars over the sand (figertivley) it’s also got a built in ac sistem the same gos fore the homes of The lords of the planet as a result tribals will beg to be let into the PDF for its as cormfortable as life could possibly get for a tribal it’s also gone through a civil war when a warlord got it into his head that he’s the emperor reincarnated and that he’s destined to turn valarak into a paradise now usually the wider imperium wouldn’t care but the inquisition had reason to believe he was worshipping tzench they would end up being right to put a stop to this upstart warlord they sent the 152 catachan regiment to intervene but shortly after there landing they were rapidly insercled and slaughtered buy the warlords followers after that nasty surprise the inquisition realised they were dealing with more than some minor inserction not long after the warlord overthrew the previous leadership and hunted down and slaughtered any and all war bands dumb enough to not have immediately surrendered and sworn aligence to the new “planetary governer” it took 3 imperial guard regiments a few space marines and 3 years to retake the planet if it weren’t for the fact it played an integral part in the local supply chain the intier planet would have been exterminatesed didn’t save the population though I’ll end this lore dump by describing the season of endless reign it’s pretty self explanatory but it’s the only time all year it reigns and it reigns hard it happens during summer And any one without a see worthy vessel will drown the lords of the planet have built there fortresses up high enough to have tow highest levels just above sea level and everything else is completely air tight to insure that there powere base doesn’t collapse under them both literally and figertivley many an a aspiring warlord has lost there life wen there fortresses wasn’t as water proof as they thought one nootable incident was wen a warlord decided to create a floating fortress it worked but wen the season ended he realised that he while undoubtedly mighty didn’t have no ware nere enough men or equipment to toogh it around and so was forced to abandon it
