As long as you don't mind gigantic, carniverous flies and the constant stench of putrification and rot, it's not that bad. In fact, if you happen to eat flies, have a limited olfactory sense and a personal interest in highly toxic fauna, you could actually thrive there.

The single worst possibility in the WH40K universe would be for Papa Nurgle to decide that he Tyrranids were his greatest children. The tyrranids are the most voracious form of life present; expanding and absorbing life everywhere, growing their hive fleets at every opportunity. Papa Nurgle could coat otherwise barren asteroids with mosses and fungi; who can fracture and split frozen rock to form soil; then use all the light to photosynthesize, growing to cover the formerly barren rack. When the Tyrrnids find those gardens of Nurgle; they'd fall on them with delight - biomass that is ready for absorption immediately; and, if managed, would be constant supplies of biomass as long as light, water, and carbon are available. (this could also be true of the Orks; Papa Nurgle could make garden worlds that are perfect breeding places for orklings and such.) Papa Nurgle would have the opportunity to study the Tyrranid life cycle, to develop many methods of infecting the hive mind; commandeering the main body of the fleets, to have the perfect army to spread far beyond the great rift. oh, dear.

Already like listening to stories of older granpa figures but I'd kill to sit by a ghastly campfire and listen to so much as one of the many stories Nurgle or a Great Unclean One could share Nurgle's Garden sounds way more lively, enticing to explore and feel than Elden Ring's Lands Between lol Btw does Nurgle represent entropy in Warhammer?
