"A lot more cheaper than the electric tooth brushes I've seen" Bruh, what toothbrushes are you looking at? Golden plated handle?
@dr.molars3516 жыл бұрын
Every toothbrush cleans your teeth whether it is the expensive one or the cheap one. An expensive toothbrush would be useless if not used properly tho. Lol. Maybe its just because of the mindset that the expensive one will clean your teeth better (because duuh, its $40. You should let yourself believe that it was worth every dollar). It would be worth it if the bristles itself were rotating (BUT I THINK ITS NOT) and the whole toothbrush is ONLY vibrating. Would be convinced if they made a 40-dollar version of the mint floss then compare it to a cheap one. She literally compares the old toothbrush that she has, which she said that she didn't replace for a long time and comparing it to a BRAND NEW toothbrush. This is too stupid. Edit: Wow. Thank you for the 57 likes :o
@qytj11823 жыл бұрын
Good point I think the rotating bristles thing is why dentists recommend the round brush heads when getting an electric one as they turn, and they don't specify any particular over another which makes sense.

I've been using the Quip for a while and compared to my ~$10 old proper electric toothbrush it's honestly far worse for actually cleaning your teeth. The Quip basically just vibrates, which while it kinda feels nice doesn't actually have any effect compared to just a standard, mechanical toothbrush, whereas any decent electric one will have the bristles rotate and guarantee you a good clean every time

Typical bad investigation for views... no control, only comparing two items, comparing an old thing to a new thing, having the person comparing them be totally new to that thing... OF COURSE a girl who always used an old standard toothbrush is going to think her first new electric toothbrush is better. Smh What about other toothbrush brands? Other drugstore brands, and Oral B and Sonicare? Shouldn't all the brushes be equally new? What about people who've used electric toothbrushes before?
@des1gno6 жыл бұрын
So if it's 40$, you could have 40 one-dollar toothbrushes( 40 months!!!) and you won't have to replace it every 3 months for 10$( 3.33$/month). One good thing I see in it is that it's half the price of an good electric toothbrush, but for me it's still makes no difference.
@earlessroboticcat71026 жыл бұрын
It changed your life because of the price. I have a Sonic electric toothbrush and it brushes the same. The only thing that is different is that it’s less labor to clean your teeth.

You can buy a vibrating toothbrush for 4$. It won't have that minimalistic look and cool packaging though, so the 10x price mark is definitely well compensated for.
@itsmevi856 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but you're not even using the electric toothbrush properly. You're meant to slowly move it around so it can do what its meant to do which is clean your teeth. If you move it around like a manual toothbrush, you're not letting it do its thing which is cleaning your teeth which defeats the purpose. BTW your teeth feel cleaner because you're brushing for longer. haha. Just some advice from a dental professional =)

I switched to a cheap, disposable equivalent to the Quip a few months ago, and I can't go back to a normal toothbrush. I just ordered a Quip to replace my current brush, because my current one is meant to be completely disposed of when the battery dies. Quip is going to be a much more environmentally friendly option for me.

No thank you. I love my electronic toothbrush, and it didn't cost $40. I'm not going to buy some trendy toothbrush because it's trendy. I can already choose the color of my toothbrush, and I'm not too lazy to go to the store every few months to get replacement heads. This ad was garbage; Celia doesn't seem very bright and she obviously doesn't know how product comparisons are supposed to be done. She also doesn't know how to use electronic toothbrushes, and her gums must hate her for it. If you want to try to convince people to buy trendy bullshit, this is not the way to go about it.
@kaitlin36326 жыл бұрын
That is in no way comparable to a Sonicare or Oral b. Get a generic electric toothbrush for literally half the quip. Obviously anything with agitation like that is going to clean better than just a simple brush but I personally consider it a waste of money considering your options. :p

So...you can't change the head of the brush? Nah thanks, I'd rather buy 1$ toothbrush every month or two. Also, it can probably be used as a vibrator too, no way their designers would miss such an opportunity with a long handheld vibrating device. Not that it's a bad thing, just saying.

This is obviously a biased paid ad by quip or whoever that just wants you to buy the more expensive one. I had a quip and the only part that vibrated was the handle and you feel nothing on the brush head, I ended up returning mine; you might as well get a regular toothbrush because it does the same. If you want an electric toothbrush your better off getting a Sonic Care or Phillips if you want to see results.
