@@Senayoshy More literally than just "dumb" is that your brain forms "wrinkles" when it makes connections between information. So a lack of that indicates at the very least less knowledge/experience, but more likely a low intelligence (I am no doctor)

I use a alpha28 as my only keyboard and when I set it up I thought I was gonna have like 12 layers and it’s going to be super intense but I only have 3 1 for letters 2 for numbers 3 for fkeys and escape an some random ones like reset

You'll never see me lay my hands on anything smaller than 60-65, but I do have to admit, it sounds and looks nice overall with the only gripe that the case is so thick, you're losing most of the advantages of a 40. So I guess it's just for minimalism and looks instead of "urr durr I want 40 percent because the usul x y z". Basically I see it as a novelty in its whole self, expecially since the case looks like an inverted spacebar in itself.

I think you'd have to purposely try to deform them, I'm sure the designer did stress tests for that exact concern.

@@steen275 that's a fair point, I've had a few boards that I needed to do that because the edge of the case was too close the keycap to get the puller underneath so I don't find it too big of a deal. At least it's only two pieces and disassembly is straightforward. I do wonder if this is only applicable to the Alu plate.

I love it, but a split spacebar for layer modifiers would be nicer. I saw the board can support it. There is a power in the thumbs that is waster on only the spacebar. Trust me, I am an ortho40 power user.

I think the big piece of brass probably contributes quite a bit. And I believe the price varies depending on the color because of the cost of the coating.
