I injured my lower back earlier this year and had to drop down to using MUCH lighter weights than I used before. It didn't feel like I was working my glutes, but it was necessary to not strain my back any further. It was hard to not feel disappointed with myself. I kept doing Sydney's workouts, and slowly, my back healed and I can lift heavier again. Thank you, Sydney, for continuing to give us these workouts and encouraging us to show up and do the best we can in the moment, regardless of whatever setbacks we might have!

Hi! Is this lesson also for men? I am man and did this with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I used 2 lb dumbbells throughout but could not last more than 14 minutes when my upper body completely gave up and I stopped. My MIL did the full lesson using dumbbells from 15 lbs to 30 lbs!! Her biceps are very thick and strong like Coach Sydney's! I feel really low and defeated :(

Hi! Is this lesson also for men? I am man and did this with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I used 2 lb dumbbells throughout but could not last more than 14 minutes when my upper body completely gave up and I stopped. My MIL did the full lesson using dumbbells from 15 lbs to 30 lbs!! Her biceps are very thick and strong like Coach Sydney's! I feel really low and defeated :(

Absolutely loved this workout!! My favourite format - strength and cardio in 30 sec bursts performed three times!! I've also found 40 minute workouts are my sweet spot on most days! Love your little motivational chats at the end. Thanks SO much Sydney, from a mum in Sydney, Australia!! xx
