Ahoy! You've found yourself watching my first video on this channel! This video is about three moments in my life when I experienced true change in overcoming some really difficult obstacles: alcoholism, losing a job and being underwater financially and the toughest of all-being a grumpy kid :-P
jk
But all joking aside: I've been collecting inner practices like: cultivating willingness, redefining the context of my life circumstances to bring urgency to my dilemma (in order to help myself hit bottom faster), ruthlessly clarifying what I really want out of life, separate from the voices of "culture" (remember Terrence McKenna who said "culture is not your friend"), making a True Decision at depth, uncovering the power of becoming obsessed with becoming free, the power of singular focus and what happens when all of these things combine behind a deeply felt, personal aim to really transform and change. These thoughts make up the inner-Kata of forms I've collected from a lot of wonderful speakers and authors (my favorites are @mitchhorowitz6054 & @RuneSoup and lately I've also really been loving @MarthaBeckauthor -I also draw inspiration from and talk in this video about Neville Goddard and Napoleon Hill but I've drawn inspiration from and owe gratitude to so many others) over the past nearly 20 years that have helped me really change my life for the better, in concrete ways: whether I needed to be more kind as a child, or needed to get sober as a young adult or needed to find a way to transform my financial life and move towards freedom as a mid-thirty-something.
And here I am at another crossroads, turning 40 and feeling the winds of change blowing and sensing that, yep! It's another one of those major inflection point moments in my life.
So, this is my story and it's to share and it's my prayer that all beings might be blessed by my attempt to do so-and that I might speak to someone who needs it in the same way that so many have spoken to me through their sharing when I've needed it most.
Love to you all tonight & today!
Posting this during an hour ruled by Mercury, while the Moon is in Virgo (ruled by Mercury) and the sun is in Virgo (ruled by Mercury). So, it's a Mercury Jackpot -- in case anyone's keeping track :-P
Much thanks to my badass friend @BeinKian for the badass editing. Kian, I hope you're having a ton of fun out in Australia!

Catalyst 1 is testament to the value of independent research leading to an accidental reading list!

My version of catalyst 2 was my addiction to hating money, a kind of snobbery against the rich against wealth accumulation, which manifested in odd things like buying books I didn't need, among other ways of throwing money away. It was in 2016/2017 when I got very poor first, and next landing a project that gave me $2k for 6 mths, letting me taste financial buffer. Since then, I m a recovering money hating addict, a process that is ongoing.

So wonderful and amazing to have you reach out and share your story with me. Thank you so much for your kind words and your reflections and for wanting to take the time to reach out and share about yourself. I'm so happy for you that you've been finding powerful inflection points in your life that have opened things up for you. And thank you for what you shared about your own financial journey. I really sympathize with having internal obstacles in the form of beliefs or thoughts that color my relationship with money and the need to move past those in order to unlock better compensation in support of moving towards a more flourishing life. Thanks again and I hope you have a great night!

It’s crazy how when that inner voice aligns with this genuine pull to express it and it’s like it’s given invisible wings and a cosmic gust that carries it, as if it has a whole energy of its own that amplifies it into a domino effect of manifesting and magnetizing all that can be and carry us forward like an epiphany turned into a living dream, awake and free

First of all, congrats on taking that first step into the unknown, you've truly started your journey into the wilderness to find something of value, you accepted the invitation to your quest, and already you've found something of value, identified it and had the courage to share it with the world. All the principles of living a creative successful lifestyle are personified in this first video. Wow.. keep it up and your spiritual guides will show up when you need them, to take the steps that seemed impossible prior to crossing the threshold into this new unknown. Much respect and luv.

@FlightofWyverns
@FlightofWyverns 3 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for the hello from in Sweden!! And thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and your positive encouragement and kind words. It is a real blessing to me. To answer your question, I'm not an actor. I am a person who has discovered he really likes putting ideas into spoken word. I have spent a lot of time sharing in self-help environments and I think that has impacted the way that I translate thoughts into words in real time. Perhaps weirdly, I also spent a ton of time seeing myself on camera on zoom calls in my job in the countless meetings I attended over the years and it made me feel comfortable speaking over a digital platform into a camera. If I had to guess, I would say that those two groups of experiences have affected how it feels for me to sit down and talk in this format. Thank you again for the good vibes and encouragement and for taking the time to comment and say hello. It means a ton to me! Wishing you an awesome day out there!!

Hey! Thanks for saying hi! I can really relate to feeling overwhelmed about where to start -- and with taking a long time to get going. More than once in my life, I've held projects inside for up to 10 years -- and then finally had them take off. I'm a big believer in Napoleon Hill's assertion (obviously the language is dated), that "No man is ever whipped, until he QUITS- in his own mind" from Think & Grow Rich. I don't believe anything's ever over until we truly close the door on it. Before then, there's always a chance. Have you ever heard Paul Stamets talk about the amadou mushroom that people in antiquity used to use to carry the ember from their old fire to their next camp, so they could start their fire again once they arrived? Sometimes, I feel like I carry these projects in myself, like carrying that ember across time and space until I reach the place where I can no longer stand not to try to start a blaze with it. Until then, I stoke it and I don't let it die. Sometimes, it takes me a really long time to get it going (it often does, for projects that are truly worthwhile). I also used to know this wonderful Buddhist who would tell me, "You know, there's no rush... but it's later than you think." I like to think about that as well. I wish you the very best of clarity and the power to go for it! And I hope you have a great night (or day)! And thank you so much, again, for checking in!

*2nd comment same guy lol. Man, I feel so blessed to find your channel. I hesitated to share my topics, and then read your description.. whoa!! The esoteric, occult, life style and awakening are some of my deepest truths.. and was literally hesitating because I am working on intergration. As we speak, I have a white board trying to distill my priorities amidst making art, building shade structures and doing everything I can to make rent.. Perhaps it's Kismet to work with eachother; Either way thanks for being a living example of what my soul is screaming me to pursue and long over due. Om Shanti Brother (FYI, I am 8 months sober from alcohol and it has been the best choice of my life)
