I've always had great success using 4-0 steel wool and Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser powder which they sell at every supermarket and DIY store. Works great on both stainless and aluminum!!!!

You're so lucky. In the UK any old crusty POS bike will cost you at least $1000. Just looking at an advert for a 2004 KX125 with a seized engine, the guy wants $1200!

I got a 2009 kx450 just needed shims for $850 he thought it needed top end so got it cheap, $26 to fix then sold it for $3800 so not bad “Nsw Australia”

I wanted this bike. guess i was too late but I had cash. lol anyway what did u end up giving for it. these are easy to rebuild, I have a press and can press rod into the crank its easy and a lot cheaper.... I have a 95 and really enjoy it, just need to update the suspension.

Probably a lot of us thinking where and how do you find a bike for $400. In 09 I gave $1700 for an 02 Ktm 300. Saw same year model Ktm 300 in same shape recently for $2600. By the looks of that KX it would list for no less than $1000 here where I'm at. $400 won't get you a burned Klx 110 here much less a 250 that needs a little. Terrible.
