Ha ha! I once got an old square body Jimmy for free. Cost me around $70 to get it towed home. When I went to clean it out the cab had coins everywhere. I pulled $75 worth of change out of that thing. Paid for the towing and made the truck free again.

Dump Hilton hyper lube in the engine. It will keep your chain guide's happy too. 4.6 Ford's usually fail cause of a chain guide falling apart other than that usually a dam near Bullitt proof engine for high rpm use.

If you are going to race 24 hours of lemons, make sure the cage also meets NHRA specs. I raced a miata in Lemons and didn't particularly like it as much as I thought. I decided to drag race the Miata but found out some of the specs of my cage won't meet every aspect of the NHRA class that I'm shooting for. It would have been any easy alteration if I would've known ahead of time. Happy racing from STL.

Man! What a deluxe ride! Leather upholstery and everything! Perfect for an Enduro when you think about it....just hope the regs let you run them instead of that supposed 'safety' stuff you see in some sports. What could be safer in a crash than a big comfy seat to smoosh into and soak up the impact? It's also safer coz your hind end dont go numb after a couple of hours on the rumpty track.....but yeah, I see the potential in it. You know, that 'box changes slower than a learner driver changes gears in a manual 'box, mate. She really bogs down in the low end too, but its hard to tell if its box related, timing related, fuel / air related or the fact that not all eight are playing ball......or maybe just that it has the huge handicap of being from the blue oval stables. That probably doesn't help it much, but we work with what we have, don't we. And I'm sure if you beat on it some more and teach it who's boss, it will come round. Looked like a heck of a lot of fun anyway! ....and this Enduro idea sounds like it would be a great bit of fun if that poor old thing is any indication of the standard of the other entrants! Would love to see it. In regard to recording any pre-race preparation - she's your channel, bud. I love to see people making a crappy running engine and box come out great, so I am all for it. Depends on the time you have, your patience, editing time and all that, but you have the time and patience to do it and put it up, then I'll watch it for sure!

Started following you when you were doing the holy Goat and have been absolutely hooked on your channel. You're not trying to be anything you're not you're not hamming it up just for whatever you're having fun wrenching on cars bringing us along with you and just having a good time. It definitely very authentic not afraid to show any mistakes I'm like some people will probably record them messing something up multiple times till they get it right and then they only show them getting it right they don't show them ever messing up don't appreciate things like that there's so many funny people on here doing it just to try to make money. Yes it is a possibility you can make some good money doing KZbin but honestly just being yourself and doing your own thing will get you there. I have to say the holy Goat did help put you on the map. You kick ass keep it up absolutely love the channel and can't recommend it enough to other people.

The heater fittings on the back of the intake manifold are notorious for cracking the plastic on the manifold and causing a coolant leak. The aftermarket replacements for these solve this issue.

Might want to check the mass air flow unit, if that sensor wire gets dirty they run like crape. Ask me how I know? It's a easy clean. common problem with those engines.

I disconnected it, without o2 sensors, it was losing its mind. No MAF no problem

Dead spot would most likly be the throdle position sensor on these. Or Posibly fuel pressure regulator. Both are fairly cheep parts . and easy to do.
