Evening Misha it was sad to here when Mitsubishi decided to end the Evo. My personal favourites where the Evo 6 tommi makinen in red livery and the Evo 9 updated facelift FQ-360 or MR-400. Thanks to the owner for sharing the lap.
@car-enthusiast31413 жыл бұрын
And don’t forget the FQ440-MR (only 40 units built with 440 hp) ;) This is the worlds most powerful 4 cylinder in my opinion. The a45s amg has 421 hp. Maybe they considered the a45s amg becoz the difference between production numbers.
@ericpisch27323 жыл бұрын
The AMG goes 20k miles between service the EVO 1500 miles :) The AMG also has head room for power increases for face lift etc and of course passes vastly stricter emission regulations

@@ericpisch2732 please don’t forget that the evo x FQ440 which made 440bhp in 2008 not 2020 it’s about 12 years late and my own personal evo x gsr makes about 600bhp at the crank and 460hp atw and has made that on a stock driveline and engine for years people buy Evo’s to mod and don’t care about warranty because they don’t get ripped off for parts like amg does, one is a jdm and rally icon that people mod the other is a refined full of gadgets hot hatch that is very quick, two very different cars not saying the amg isn’t fantastic but the 4b11t made more than the amg did 12 years prior

I'm here watching this video after not owning my evo x for 5 years and you reminded me of all the interior rattles it had. It even had this one problem once when ever going up over a bump or into a drive way, there would be this loud loud knock noise. It turned out being some bolt underneath the rear passenger seats.

Have the same thing in my normal lancer lmao. For me its the brightness button for the instrument cluster that vibrates when I rev up. The rest of the interior is pretty quiet though.

The Evo X is amazing! I bought a 2011 Evo brand new from the showroom in 2011 and I just traded it in at the end of 2019 for Dodge Challenger Scat-Pack 392 (6.4L) manual 6 speed. The Evo was the best handling car I ever owned, the only negative is the interior is all crappy plastic. Also the manual trans is a 5speed and would have been better with 6 gears.
