That’s exactly right. In fact, that’s how the military justifies the cost of flyovers, as they are excellent time on target practice.

Hi, great video. Just been trying this myself editing the waypoints in the flightplan of the red flag missions but the HUD times are all crazy saying i will be something like 5 mins late when I am only a few seconds away. I am going to the waypoint page in the cdu, entering a time e.g. 091000 for 9.10 am in the DTOT. in the CDU this sets a correct Time to go but the HUD times saying if I am early or late are all wrong. Also if I cycle the waypoint the same DTOT says in the CDU for all waypoints. Am I missing something?
