Perfect!,very methodical and straight forward.Works no matter the make.Probably.1983,bought a 1966.1 ton IH.4 spd,4wd,304 v8.The toughest truck,by far, that I"ve ever owned.Used to spread shal e on my parents road with this thing.Best plow truck ever!Totally, over built from the factory,Best firewood truck ever! A true beast! Not too hard on gas,2 barell, top speed,50 mph,I"ve got the 3 factory manuals for it.Very thick, total build manuals .couldn"t wait to sell it.NowI"d love to have it back. The old story.

MORNING BEN!!! great basic "do's & dont's" info!! So cool that you get the back stories on these oldies!...that's what REALLY makes these relics so SPECIAL... ❣️LOVE your video attire today❣️ (I'm Fab Rats "OregonMom"❤) Like you, they're carrying on the traditions from past generations.. So much fun!! And like your kids, THEIRS are involved in the shop as well...(gives me hope that our future generations won't just be sitting on an electronic device all day and expecting things be given to them!!) We'll be seeing you down the road!! Stay FROSTY!!! Keep your head on a swivel...

you inspired me to buy a 1968 pickup, has not run in 20+ years. I can not get the doors open. I am sure they are rusted. What tips can you give to free up the door latch?

I recently found your channel through Casey Ladelle’s video showcasing your IH 1750 purchase. Awesome truck. I’ve been around IH farm trucks most of my life. We have been doing more of a preservation project rather than a restoration on a 1973 Loadstar 1700. I need to find a bumper and steps for that truck. Thanks for your tip on IH Parts America. I have contacted them. My dad bought this truck new in 1973. It has been on the farm since hauling potatoes, sugar beets, and mostly manure. It has had a hard life. The last few years we have stripped off the manure bed and installed a wood deck to use this as a service truck equipped with an air compressor and welder on the farm. We have done some minor body work on the hood and we successfully ventured into repainting it in our shop. It looks pretty good. I can relate to your experience of bringing your truck home. I get comments and thumbs up when people see it. My dad owned a couple of IH pickups so it’s cool to see all those that you are working on.

Ben! I am a fan already! The most important thing to remember is to keep these awesome videos short and sweet! I like them short and sweet, just like you are doing. So many creators I have abandoned lately because they are WAY, WAY too long in duration. I love what you are doing and thanks a bunch for sharing!

After a number of months of ownership my 1974 Travelall blew a power steering hose, while we were on a family camping vacation in Glacier Park in 1982. Since we’re from PA waiting to get home was not an option besides,, it was a hazard. I drove to Kalispell to a hose shop and did the repair on the parking lot. There’s lots of room to work under those hoods, even with a big V8 in there. Great advice!

I remember doing these same things 45 to 50 years ago when my father would by an old vehicle or truck to use and possibly flip or trade.

That orange transport truck you got is cool looking. It looked like the placard of the door said it was a motorsports company that own it before. Speaking from experience in Motorsports if that's the case it was very well taken care of. Found you thanks to Casey.

Some old fellers around here (central Iowa) threaten great bodily harm if a person doesn't drain some pil to check for water/coolant, (it'll be at the bottom), before trying to start an engine. And aren't IH's notorious for wiping out cam bearings after sitting a long time? Not much you can do about that unless you take an oil pressure priming set up. I know I don't take one along. I'm happy to have an IH nut start a KZbin channel.

Don't force the hood down on a truck you're bringing home when the hinges are rusted shut . You'll bend the hood and ruin it
