hey leutin, I know it would be a massive undertaking, but there is so, so little high quality content about the Tanith First and Ibram Gaunt, the Gaunt's Ghosts novels are some of the best in the entire franchise. You probably have a backlog a sector across right now, but if in the future you were spitballing for ideas, The First and Only have a massive source of content that seems quite untapped among the big youtubers like your self.

A Guardsmen duty did the 13th perform which was to sell their lives to the great expense of the enemy. However the Ecclesiarcy & the Inquisition when they worked together, it was generally mutual loathing from both sides. I ponder there might have been the movement of the Emperor in the battle unfortunately with the Acid Dogs being normal humans they would have died having been imbued with such power. The Inquisition made sure Chaos was obliterated with no hesitation for the 13th before going in had been tainted. A 40K version of the Dirty Dozen. Either way it was a victory non the less.
@KalashVodka17511 ай бұрын
@@jonahtexhex2835 Anyone who understands the inner working of chaos indoctrination understands that the Inquisition had no right to let that regiment live. Better that they be laid low discretly than to make it public. A quick orbital barrage is a mercy for those heroic guardsmen. « You’ve fought well. You’ve fought loyally. But you must die, for the safety of all. Thanks you for all that you’ve done. »

Warhammer really does show the tenacity of humankind with warriors like Bane and the Imperial Guard who are unaugmented but still stand up to the horrors of the galaxy. It's one thing to stand against xenos and chaos abominations while wearing power armor and using heavy weapons that would break the bones of normal humans from recoil, it's another entirely to stand against an unstoppable tide with a mass produced las gun that annoys more enemies than it actually kills. I love how there is always a basis in truth for a lot of Warhammer lore especially in regards to Humans. Who knows what it may be ultimately, but I do know of countless stories of a hellishly determined human taking extreme amounts of suffering, pain and perhaps loss of limbs, operation of organs and the sheer drive, will to persevere and finish what must be done is like an ethereal life source sustaining until that goal has been accomplished.

A few points: 1) Most of your lore vids regard the Imperium, so for me the most fascinating lore you could tell would be about the other races and factions, even though I get that there isn't nearly as much written material for you to draw from. 2) Despite this I think most of your best videos have been about Imperial, or other human matters so whatever. 3) The ending was fantastic. 4) I'd still be especially fascinated by xenos individuals, regardless of whether military or not.

I love videos such as this one because it gives us a chance to look into the harsh realities that unaugmented imperial guardsmen have to go through. I cannot conceal the sheer amount of respect that I have for these unsung heroes of the Imperium.

I verry much agree with this take on the "Figures" series yer planning. Looking at interesting and flavourfull Guard regiments will always be a welcome breath of fresh air. Hope the Steel Legion are gunna get some love too, though I suppose its hard to mention them without mentioning Yarrick in the same sentence.

“Except somehow many of the 13th stood together, They stood strong and Colonel Bane lead his Men and Women steadly foward or clining reminding them That they were the Mordant Acid Dogs. They came foward from the world where every moment and every day spend in temptation. From the dark forces and dark individuals trying to drag you down to tear your spirit and soul away from the light, to commit acts of self degridation of blashpemy or heresy. But they knew there was a greater purpose for mankind, They knew that they be aspired to rise above the scum of the earth, the abominations, the weak and the pityfull. They lay down continue heavy fire against their enemy and the dead of the Mordant be cut away, and all that remain of the 13th was the core and they were strong and unmoveable their fire cut through the strange beasts and entities that pour through the immaterium. And who say it was their weapons or their sheer burninghatred for the xenos, for the non human, the unspeakable horror. Their most powerfull weapon was their faith in the emperor of man” The Emperor Protects!

I haven't made it through this one yet. Always put it on and I'm asleep by the end. Mean that in the best way. Love you buddy. Don't whisper Chaos nothings in my ear while I sleep.

Luetin your videos are excellent, please keep it up! Between the fantastic narration and the visuals, it's more engaging than any movie.

This is always one of the reasons it's hard to believe the Imperium can ever win. Even if you stand up and against the odds beat the forces of chaos, the Inquisition kills you for it to prevent corruption. If every war is a loss, you either die to the enemy or to the inquisition it's hard to imagine ever winning.

I've been listening to this playlist at work and it was a journey to go from, "I know this sounds like a cop out, but The Spirit of Man..." To, "Let me tell you about Colonel Bane..."

It was beautiful Leutin, this video, and then the beauty faded, murdered, with an orbital barrage, in the end transmission. This is the Imperium after all. The 13th Mordant will never be forgotten. Have faith in yourself brothers and sisters, and faith in the Emperor. When things are at their darkest, it is all we have, and it is ALL WE NEED TO KILL THOSE WHO THINK THEY CAN CRUSH OUR SPIRIT, OUR DETERMINATION, OUR RAGE!! LET THEM COME AND LET THEM BLEED! FOR THE IMPERIUM! FOR THE GUARD! FOR THE EMPEROR!

It's interesting to see a chaos incursion from the perspective of guardsmen. It's easy to forget that Chaos is not widely known in the Imperium and that any rank and file would have no prior knowledge of or ability to classify Chaos. And I definitely would not want to be the Cadian 17th oof.

Can you talk about Sly Marbo in a future legends vid?
Legends say sly MARBO can wrestle a war boss in his left hand and juggle 33 knives in his right, all without breaking a sweat

Definitely looking forward to hearing one about Eisenhorn. Truthfully, I thought you might start this series with Nathaniel Garro since I've heard you mention him a few times, but Bane is certainly a solid entry as well. Really looking forward to more in this series! :)

Probably my most favorite Video of you so far I am really watching you almost every night now since the last few months and this one I like alot The way you tell the story is pretty intruiging? I don’t know if it is the right word but atleast it gets me excited! To sad it in words I know. But I think it is obvious why since it is extremely difficult if not almost impossible to make a one and a half lore videos interesting and not boring to watch but you dear sir got a talent ye this is a "short" video where i am writing this comment but it sure as hell led me to appreciate your long videos How much work and effort comes into these videos and it couldnt be without your love and passion that these could exist from which i have to say thank you Thank you so much for your videos i never learned so much in such short time about anything in my life that i just had to say how grateful I am Sorry for my wonky english and I will keep watching your videos until I die For Papa Nurgle ❤️
