How to Style Chinos for Spring/Summer

In this video, I'm just having a little fun showing you how I might be styling my chino's this spring 2019. I'm using two colors, gray and light blue from Goodfellow & Co. that I picked up recently.
Everybody might not agree with all of my outfit ideas, but I hope at least you can pick up a few ideas you can use this spring.

Agreed Phillip. I enjoy that a regular dude can show style that works for him with easy to collect pieces rather than uber expensive items. I have to say though, I'm not a watch geek but I would seriously look to upgrade those watches. I think it has been said before in other videos, but lots of options in the price ranges you've talked about to get better quality time pieces at the equivalent cost. Keep up the good work.

THIS is the reason why I wear chinos 99% of the time. For one they’re comfortable AF. You can dress them up and by simply swapping out shirts/shoes you can dress them down. These things are a godsend for men over 40 and this video proves it. Great job man!

Back in my twenties I wouldn't have blinked an eye charging a $150 D&G t-shirt on my Neiman Marcus card. Now in my 40's I love Target and shop there all the time. Style is more about your individuality and not about a label on your clothes.

Thank you. I have never been very "fashion forward". However I take pleasure in dressing sharply and the proper fitment of my clothing. However, being aware of what works, or doesn't work, or fits the occasion type of thing. This showed simple outfits and combinations of things that just work. Plus, I am appreciative that you show attire that is appropriate to our age group. It doesn't look stuffy, it is appropriate. It is not, something I hate, trying to make us look 20 again. Yet, it does not make us look dead lol. Perfect.

I've never cared for chinos because I have always found they tend to collect lint, but after watching the video I decided to give them a try again. I am glad I did. I took your advice and bought some dark navy chinos from Target. Been using them for about about 3 weeks now and I have found them to be an excellent choice for casual wear. In the past I've always worn jeans, so it is nice to have an style option.

I am 54, and have always considered myself to be rather fashionable/stylish, and I have gotten so much out of your videos. I just discovered your videos and I have been trying to catch up on everything. I especially like what you had to say about shoes in a previous video. I wear a size 13, and up until the last 10 years or so it has been very hard to find stylish shoes in my size, but recently I have been able to really expand my shoe collection. All shirts looked better tucked into to the trousers. I still believe that the jean jacket is a bit too small, especially with the cuffs rolled up. The chinos are nice and well matched with the shoes presented, especially like the brogue brown/tan oxford shoes. I would like to see more clothing styles for the larger man, 6' 240lbs, what can you present for this model man?

I wear the 511 cut. They are a very slim fit throughout the leg. without being tight like a skinny jean. I've tried the 510 but they were way too tight on my legs.

Running to Target and checking out those chinos. All combinations looked great especially with sport jackets. I like that you could go from hangout casual to business casual with different choice of shoes and accessories. Personally not a fan of jean jackets. Definitely gave me some ideas to upgrade my style of shirts , getting little tired of polos. Being an avid golfer , nice touch with the club. Kudos. Keep content coming.

Liked the gray chinos the best. Seemed more versatile and can wear different colors of shirts and shoes and make it work. Blue chinos seemed a little more limited but I liked them also.
