Their big enogh and tough enogh for that so that makes sense. As soon as the job is done they either migrate to another suitable area or die instantly, nurishing the first generation of warriors and drones and then it continues on. So GJ invasion, your one hell of an anime, the best we got since movie 1 on screen that is not a game yet you got some stuff wrong AF. However, I kind of wish they included each appearance per bug in different areas, such as the brain bug's different appearance from the movie and the tv series. The novel *Starship Troupers by Robert Anson Heinlein* was basically a philosophical treatise on a form of *Libertarianism,* where every individual basically has the same Rights (Free Speech, Freedom of Religion, Right to Congregate, Right to Bear Arms, etc.) as people living in the modern United States. However only Citizens were permitted to either Vote or be Elected to Federal Office. In order to become a citizen, individuals would be required to undertake several years of government service. Note that while many individuals - including the protagonist, *Juan "Johnny" Rico,* (who was supposed to be a 21 y/o *Filipino/Hispanic* & not the 29 y/o blond/blue eyed Caucasian cast in the movie) - chose military service, there were plenty of alternatives forms of government service described in the novel. The idea of drafting people to fight in a war against their own moral judgement is thoroughly rejected, with Rico's platoon of Armoured Infantry soldiers being completely voluntary, up to the point of deployment into combat (though this meant they lost the opportunity to be a citizen). While there certainly are Militaristic, Jingoistic & (somewhat) Fascistic elements in the novel, these are notably exaggerated in the *Verhoeven* movie. This is illustrated through *Vorhoeven's* plot device (reused from Robocop) of showing News, Commercials & TV Shows as cultural expositions of the United Citizen Federation, as well as the black & grey Wehrmacht/SS -esque military uniforms (especially within the Psi-Corp).

A decade later & he probably looked back at the war (WW2 Pacific, vs. the Japanese) with perhaps too much rose-tinting on his glasses, downplaying the shitty parts in favour of the "band of brothers" kind of camaraderie. (As well as not quite grasping how civilians might view his nostalgic ruminations on military/civic responsibility.)

Sure, everyone with a PC and CDR who bought something copied and freely shared it with friends anyway, but people still went to these few stores just to see if the story was true. The Balkans, pocket dimension that starts where logic and laws of the universe end, despite it's mount Everest of problems truly has some entertaining stuff on a daily basis second only to Russian dashcam and CCTV footage compilations. Take a shot each time you hear the word "bug", jokes aside, great video, there's a hell of a lot more bugs than I thought.

The new game is minimal but extremely fun.. they need to make it a bit harder though.. i played 10 rounds yesterday and even when you are getting swarmed and totally overrun most players still survive

When I see hordes of warrior bugs my first thought is "Why no one is using grenades or rockets? You will kill decent amount and cripple those who survived initial explosion"
@TheEnigmaticBM39 Жыл бұрын
They'll continue to attack you until you're dead, even if they're blown apart. Plus...the top brass didn't care about those soldiers like that too. Only seeing them as a means to maintain control in the galaxy

Technically speaking, a heavy machine gun is more efficient at mowing down hoardes of large enemies sptinting straight at you then explosives that grenades and rockets that are much more expensive to produce en masse.

End of Chapter 13. Rico mentions he speaks Tagalog at home. This is the language of the Philippines. Maybe they had connections with South America but after Buenos Aires is destroying, Rico offers condolences to the ships only “porteño”. Port city resident. Rico is surprised to learn his mother was in Buenos Aires. Perhaps his Filipino family emigrated to South America but he is FILIPINO

Actually ; all rounds are hitting --- It just takes that many to kill a bug ----
@willreaver2295 Жыл бұрын
@@thomasbullins tbf, if they actually aimed at the nerve stem like Dougie Howser said in the information vid, it would take just a few rounds from a single person to put it down, rather than an entire fire team unloading entire magazines for one lol.

There was a mod in the classic game Quake 3 that lets you play as a Warrior bug in a color of your choosing. There's Lots of other skins as well. I played as Marvin the Martian in Darth Vader's armour. That was a while ago. Good times.

I remember walking into a Costco and seeing that I could buy the 1st starship troopers for 2199. However they have the 3 movies set with star ship troopers 2 and 3 that I could buy for 2399. Should have just bought the one movie for 21 bucks. Don't waste your time with the 2nd and 3rd movie. The animated stuff might be better.
