I’ve got an Allied loader on my IH 886. Not sure how it made its way south to Kansas, but it’s a good loader and the bucket quick attach is the best I’ve got on a tractor. It’s close to a skid steer minus the manual pins. They have good attachments as well.

The way you described how your dad set that Allied off is how Westendorf does all of theirs it works pretty good. Hope you're getting a sprayer you need it. I bought a 765 Willmar like ol' straightpipeacres has. So far so good

I've got an EZ-ON (which IIRC is built by Allied) and it disconnects that way--- stands on the frame when you back away from it. Later! OL J R :)

AFTER you have them all fitted to the bucket, take the tines off and heat them up cherry then dunk them in a bucket of old oil for a minute. It will case harden them. Outside steel gets harder inside stays softer for flexibility. They will last longer for you.

Hi Nick next time you cold start those John Deere’s turn the steering wheel back and forth fast while turning them over. I was shown that from an old timer and it releases the power steering pressure and they turn over faster makes them easier to start. Didn’t believe myself until I tried it and now I never start them without doing it.

I've done that. Only time that makes a difference is when yiur destroke valve isn't set properly on the hyd pump

No. We have clear fuel which is for commercial and farm fuel which is died purple. The fuel place switches to winter fuel which is good to 40 below in mid October
