Okay so, first of all. The scar on Zoro's left eye wasn't from the beginning of the series, it appeared during the timeskip. Second of all, he got this scar during said timeskip when he failed a test with Dracule Mihawk's cross dagger (the one he first fought him with) and it sliced his eye.

Also if you search pretimeskip zoro he always has his eyes, him having sharingan will be 1 in 100. Also in 8L09 of the video you can also see him with both eyes.
