I am Dmitri, a health enthusiast. I developed a passion for health topics in my mid forties when I was diagnosed with anxiety and high blood pressure and my doctor advised me breathing exercise and physical exercises to lower anxiety and high blood pressure naturally. It takes time for blood pressure to go down when you get anxiety or panic. But the first thing that happens before the blood pressure goes down is emotional and mental clarity. Thats what breathing exercises do. Then in few minutes the blood pressure goes down with it. The mind gets balanced first then the blood pressure follows. It may take 20 or 40 minutes. Or 5 minutes fir the blood pressure to follow sometimes but it will follow and go down. Then mind and body is balanced. But sometimes the breathing exercises help anxiety and blood pressure very quickly fir some. So its different but sometimes it takes time.

Yes, you can do this exercise to lower stress and anxiety. In order to increase your blood pressure you need to do another breathing exercise for 2-3 minutes: inhale for 6 seconds and exhale for 3 seconds. Just do it while seated as you may feel dizzy

Moving my neck as suggested ... muscle are VERY tight. Just telling me to loosen the muscles does not work. If it did, I wouldn't need a meditation!

This will be more useful of the 4 7 8 session is done for 5 minutes. By setting aside your explanation for a minimum period of time.

I went from 146/99 to 140/98 in about 5 minutes. That bottom number really is stubborn.
