The music, the water and mist, and the lush green vibe encapsulates just why I love living in WA so much! 🌿If you ever have the chance, the fall is also such a lovely time to visit - the larches in the North Cascades NP are absolutely beautiful. And Mt Rainier is an iconic sight for anyone living in the Seattle area - you just know that you're home :)

I can't wait to see some of the places y'all have been!!!! I know y'all had to change your plans in the beginning because of the pandemic, but how great is it that it is now working to your advantage!!! Everything is starting to open up and international travel is BACK!!!!! I'm so happy for the two of you! Have fun these last few weeks in the states!!! Safe travels!

It actually is a rainforest. It's classified as a temperate rainforest. I agree. I've always found it beautiful, almost mystical. You should see it in spring and fall. It's definitely rainy but sometimes it's just a mist everywhere. It's like it's out if a fantasy world with the mist, giant tree, fallen trees, ferns everywhere, moss covered everything, the wildlife like the Pacific Tree Octopus.

Thanks again for such beautiful pictures, y’all helped perk up a crappy morning for me 😊. Where I’m living now, banana slugs are very popular. There used to be a annual slug fest here, where they would gourmet cook them and eat them. When I was a kid we’d play with them, there very slimy . I think people who eat them are a bit crazy, especially if you see things they eat. If you ever make it to Armstrong state park here in Guerneville Ca , you will see huge redwood trees and lots of banana slugs 😊. The apricot salad looked tasty 😊. Be safe, have fun. Thanks for perking me up with the Beauty y’all are seeing 🌸🌺

I live in the Seattle area! If you make your way through Seattle and stop by the pike place market they have a DELICIOUS and cheaper priced pasta place with the most INCREDIBLE food! For people who love the outdoors, ever consider eating more plant based for the environment? Pigs are one of the smartest animals and the pig that was tortured and slaughtered for that lunch and the other animals you’re encouraging to be tortured in and slaughtered in your cookbook is very off putting
