The 3000G stock cooler fits just fine in the Chopin. The Wraith Stealth will fit too if you remove to plastic shroud.

Amazing build, my mum recently asked me to chase up a laptop for her but i think Ill build her something similar as it has a bit more expand-ability as well as still being a small form factor and still a huge upgrade from what she currently has. Still comes to around ~$700ish AUD changing a few parts too which is great!

I love this case. The PSU is both a pro and con (since it's not replaceable) but it's a decent one anyway. 3000G is a fine choice too since it's just a work pc (as long as work doesn't include encoding!).

I want that to build a semi-gaming pc, i want to go full way with the Ryzen 5 and add an M.2 to boot and a SSD to secondary storage, and add some RGB of course, that cooler is a very good option.

Been looking at this case for my spare 2400g APU. Unfortunately all ITX motherboards are expensive (2x mATX) plus supply difficulties mean components have gone up in price.

I'm an enthusiast of these InWin Chopin cases...I have 2 versions...the ITX motherboards mostly come with PCIe X16 slot which is unusable for graphics processors...but I found I could add storage with NVMe type memory and PCIe adaptor...shows up like any other disk...handy...saves me adding another 2.5HDD...obviously there'd be no point if it was a tower case with a real graphic processor unit...but you can't use the X16 slot for anything else in these tiny cases...

Who needs work at home PCs? If your company sends you home they normally give you a Laptop to work with. Especially because of compliance and IT security reasons. I'm only allowed to use my own PC if I use the citrix remote gateway so all the data stays on company hardware at all times.

so i wouldn't be surprised if the stock cooler if you had gotten it, would've been the same cooler you put in this build minus the rgb. Not many people know that cooler master is the manufacturer for the wraith spire and stealth .. haven't heard about this stock cooler yet, but would be pretty confident that it is a re-branded cooler master part.

The corner of the one of the arms of the back plate of the MasterAir G200P broke off an SMD Capacitor and even after it was repaired my computer refuses to boot. DRAM light stays on with the occasional boot loop. Wondering if the Mobo is just dead, its a Asus B450i Strix... very disappointed that something as simple as a back plate caused such a big problem.

It's a custom size. You can always just swap in a PicoPSU if you really wanted but you'd be limited by wattage.

Nice build ! but there is someting I have to mention about the inwin chopin, if you using a motherboard and the m.2 ssd is on the "backside", your m.2 ssd has a chance to "crush" while you fixed the 2.5 ssd due to inwin chopin ' 2.5 ssd screw holes might right in front of M.2. that is how inwin chopin kill my m.2. (my motherboard: Biostar X470NH itx) The official inwin told me "inwin chopin has published for 5 years, in that time there were not much M.2, so they feel sorry about it" ( but they still selling it ?!) I have no idea whether they fix this problem in the pro version or not. so my own opinion is to take care when you use it or even NOT buy it !

Asus b450-i itx motherboard is a great overkill for this build., ASUS Prime A320I-K/CSM (90MB11T0-M0EAYC) is a budget a320 board which would be perfect if you are opting for Athlon 3000g.

There are Asus Prime A320-I ITX motherboard, which can make this cheaper if will only be used on an APU. Sadly those are hard to come by. This is also very good for a HTPC build

Gear Seekers I understand that it’s a work from home PC build, but why is it so underpowered ? Like a 3000g, yes it is cheap but yes it has an APU but the value of it makes no sense. It’s price to performance is questionable, much better off spending the extra few bucks on a 3200g and getting a SSD instead of a Nvmi. Don’t you think ?
