Finally someone building computers for productivity and not overpaying for "gaming" stuff
@mitoCoroadoJr3 жыл бұрын
Gaming pcs are also productivity, try to run AUTOCAD in this PC lol
@BeHappyTo2 жыл бұрын
sff is not productivity, youre overpaying huge amounts. You want productivity you go atx where you not only get better performance, cooling but also less noise and much cheaper components.

Been eyeing this case with a B550i board, 5600g or 5700g, 16 or 32gb ram, & m.2 drive. Only mild gaming and mostly a workstation and video editing. I've always liked small computers. I had the Samsung Q1 UMPC, really cool device. I built a lot of desktops, but, my last laptop was a 14" Gigabyte P34Gv2 that lasted 7 years (i7-4710hq, 860m 4gb, 16gb ram); it started overheating so I built a new desktop (B550M, 5800x, 32gb ram, 1030 (went cheap on video card cus of prices right now), m.2 drives. I just think building one of these mini itx is for sure my next build (I really don't game anymore, and integrated graphics are getting pretty darn good; plenty good for my video editing needs). I guess I should wait 5 years since I just built a pc. AM4 & DDR4 are at their end now anyways. So, in a few years when AM5 & DDR5 are out and tested, and prices come down some, then I'll build a tiny pc.

I needed a W11 PC for my wife. So I just put this case together with an i3, MSI B460i and a NH -L9i cooler. Taking the case completely apart as shown in the original video was the only way to get everything into the case - thanks for the quick tutorial. I didn't manage to run the cables as neatly as in this video - but it works. Since the case will surely be on the market for a few more years I recommend making a real build video with all the screws and tricks for this case - it will surely attract a lot of people and make them happy because the instructions from In Win are extremely incomplete.

So happy to have finally found a channel that's devoted to PC hardware and builds, but without the focus on gaming, gaming, and more gaming. Not to mention water cooling, LED lighting out the waz, 8K graphics, and so on. Enough already! Geez! It's great seeing builds for us regular folk whose primary purpose in life isn't gaming.

Great stuff as always! My grandpa got into computers when home desktop pc's became a thing way back, and had such great knowledge about computers until windows 10 came out lol. Trying to convince my grandma to let him buy the parts for this pc and this video will surely help. Thank you CJ!

I have the same build and just upgraded to an R5 5600G. It is still cheaper than getting a dedicated GPU and replacing the case.
@kevineverding4892 жыл бұрын
How would this compare to something like the NUC11TNBi5? The NUC is a lot smaller, I can get it cheaper when I am than building this and the graphics performance seems a lot higher. Honestly I would prefer to do a chopin build but not sure if I can justify. Please change my mind.

I've been thinking about a Chopin for a i5 10100 gaming server without a discreet GPU but ITX boards are pretty expensive in Canada so the CJ712 is the cheaper mATX option with a better PSU.

Only 3D graphics performance (gaming). The intel graphics is actually better for 2D (video).

No only 4k@30Hz on the HDMI but up to 4096 x 2304@60Hz on the DP. You can get a rated DP to HDMI cable to do it if needed.

Wow! Exactly the conclusions i've come to....thanks a lot for this update - I'll be ordering the components as soon as possible. Unfortunately, not from Amazon because they can't supply the Z590 lga 1200 boards yet. So now I can use the i3 10100 (best bang for the buck at $114) with 3200 Ram....I think! Newegg it is...!
@ElevatedSystems3 жыл бұрын
a Z590 is kinda overkill for a 10100 considering the B560 boards allow memory overclocking.

There are no PCIe expansion slots so you will need to use a USB WiFi adapter or get a motherboard with WiFi.

Love your channel! Great video. I saw it with a friend, and he asked for your opinion - hands down - The InWin Chopin or the Inwin B1? Which is a better choice? Is there such a big difference, besides the outer design?
@ElevatedSystems3 жыл бұрын
Thermals are better in the Chopin, PSU is better in the B1, can't really use the stock wraith stealth cooler in the B1 but you can in the Chopin. They are both great but I like the B1 just because of the retro art deco look.

There is someting I have to mention about the inwin chopin, if you using new motherboard and the m.2 ssd is in the "backside", your m.2 ssd has a chance to "crush" while you fixed it due to inwin chopin ' 2.5 ssd screw holes might right infront of it. that is how inwin chopin kill my m.2. (my motherboard: Biostar X470NH itx) The official inwin told me "inwin chopin has published for 5 years, in that time there were not much M.2" so my own opinion is to take care when you use it or even don't buy it.

i want a gaming server. a machine capable to run 24/7. like shadow. but not 1000 W, not a tower. just a powerful low consomption vega11. because gaming and streaming on twitch using the same machine is overusing componements. don't need games to run on high quality, just a dedicated gaming device for smooth performances while streaming.

A GTX 1650 is a much more powerful GPU than a Vega 11 IGPU, but laptops will often default to the IGPU for video out and tasks that don't require dedicated graphics to conserve power.
