Based on the documentary she wasn't seen as a conspirator in legal terms before the actual attack took place, as well lack of evidence, otherwise they would charge her. I went to university with someone like him. He was entitled, rude and his parents funded everything for him, including a big car. He barely made the grades in the first year and in the beginning of the second year he killed two pedestrians with his car. He fled the scene and was later apprehended. He laughed when he was in court and his parents hired the best attorney money could buy. But his behaviour in court and the fact that he fled the scene sealed his fate. His mother went ballistic and was arrested for contempt of court. Very strange dynamics.
