Great video as always, but I do have a correction: Power shot pierces multiple enemies even without the aegis upgrade Drill Shot. That upgrade lets the projectile deal more damage with each consecutive target hit. In multiplayer, the shot will still pass through all targets until stopped by something like a shield or terrain, doing full damage to each target. Aside from that, love your content, keep it up. Also, secrets of Monarch's core upgrades?

So I’m an ION main [my babys at Gen70] and I just have to say…it’s amazing how much Legions are adapting to the ION lately. For the longest time enemy Legions were just a source of more firepower to reflect back at the enemy. But somethings changed in the past few weeks….I can’t put my finger on it but all of a sudden those big bastards aren’t putting up with my ION antics. Man I love this game.

johnathan hall All of a sudden I've been getting a ton of titan brawl games, and I've been seeing a ton of Ions. At first I did poorly as a Legion main, but now I'm starting to do better against Ion, mostly just shooting in small bursts but still, we can learn!

Correction/update: Long range power shot, slower travel time than a railgun round. However it doesn't ping you on the minimap. Hitting a LR power shot on a titan's feet will deal both impact damage, 2000 + another 1800 for the splash damage that the LR power shot has. Like i said, it travels slower than a railgun shot. If only one bullet from CR power shot hit a pilot, it will still kill them. However if all bullets do not hit a titan, the damage will be reduced depending on how many bullets connected. This is a useful thing to know when facing an ion, if you CR power shot and they have vortex up, flick it to the side miss entirely or only have them catch some of the CR power shot bullets. A trick one can use to stall a power shot, your gun isn't spun up, you activate power shot, as your gun is being brought up, tap the fire button, your gun will then perform a stall. This can be done fairly reactively if you notice that your target goes behind cover and you want to dash-power shot them or they quickly move, allowing you readjust your aim. Works for LR and CR alike. To avoid enemies, especially ion's spotting your power shot glow, you turn 180 degrees away from them, activate PS, then quickly 180 flick and hit them. On console with a controller, run a sensitivity at 7 or higher on both ADS and hip fire, this will also make the stun effect from monarch and ronin less degrading. Dash-power shots are really good against ion's because they won't have time to get their vortex up in time due to latency. Ronin and scorch are the best FD titans. Ronin with highlander, scorch with the hot streak upgrade allowing to chain core after core. Especially on rise. Going for LR power shot splash damage is inconsistent. The way to go is to dash at a 45 degree angle to the side of ion whilst activating CR power shot, higher risk, but greater chance of success. The vortex is only a cone in front of ion, the sides are vulnerable. both scorch and legion's defensives are broken. Flame shield as seen in the video, allows any titan to shoot scorch in the left foot as well as his left shoulder. Same with legion's gun shield. Against ronin's. Power shot when they arc wave. Power shot when they reload. Power shot when they try to shoot you. Against other legions, crouch with gun shield to protect your left foot. Smack them in their left foot/shoulder with power shots. Fun trick: You can instant goose a pilot with CR power shot if you time it right. No melee cancel, but a stall as i mentioned earlier. Your only hope against Sword C is to melee pin the ronin. Smart core reduces DPS due to not aiming for critical hit zones.

Another pro-tip, if you feel uncomfortable with the high sensitivity, hug corners with legion. Pre-charge a power shot behind a corner and dash out into the lane, once you dump you're power shot slowly walk away, crouched, with you're shield up. You essentially become a meatier northstar

5:34 You missed an important mechanic of Long Range Powershot: that is not splash damage you're seeing, it's impact damage. Long Range Powershots have innate piercing and go through targets by default. Legion's 1st upgrade does not affect it whatsoever.

Hey 4FS Gaming in TF2 in the load screen tips it will sometimes say "Legion's cqc powershot will deal more damage than the long range power shot." Do you think this is a typo by Respawn? Any ideas?

It may be referring to the fact that up close, the cqc mode has much more chance of dealing damage to multiple enemies, therefore dealing more damage overall. - Ascendance

I'm a robin main and I just block the power shot with my sword. To really get more shots in without taking damage u should only phase ship begin legion when he has his shield up because his sensitivity is higher and can't turn around to hit u in time for u to unload a mag

It means that close range powershot will bypass doomed states, so when you fire it at a low health enemy titan, if you would doom that titan normally with the damage, instead it just outright kills them. - Ascendance

It's a great way to deal with nuke titans since to detonate they have to enter doomed state. With executioner you can destroy them without initiating the nuke.

CQB a ronin and a Legion if the ronin attempts to swat you to death(9/10) use the shatter shot with the 2 charge shot upgrade Legion wins and it's pretty damn funny to see that little fucker freak as he watches himself get recked instead of what usually happens

In all honesty, when there are a bunch of Ronins on the field, the only way that works for me to counter them is Legion or Scorch. I have seen a couple players freak out when they see the Scorch. They only freak out with the Legion once you 2 charge them, and then they phase the FO of there xD... Quiet satisfying.
