Ok, lets help the newbies....NVE is resource hungry and cuts off at least 30 FPS not to mention crash and lag if u have a kinda low end pc. NVR on the other hand hardly takes 5 FPS....just reduce contrast, increase brightness and your NVR almost looks like NVE. Thank you and cheers mate

The thing is that if you don't like that NVE is so bright at night or the NVR too dark at night, you can just adjust the game brightness ingame settings and see the difference

NVR for me all day. look much clearler an more realistic with lighting an shoadows. NVE looks to bright. darkness brings out the reality in the game. I use NVR+PRSA+ENB+VisualV. use the combination of those three an the game looks incredibly real.

I tried all of those together but I started getting flickering in spots at night. And when I shot someone I got this weird blue screen glitch for a second I couldnt get rid of. Ive found that NVR with Visual V and a few settings in reshade like clarity, adaptive, sharpen and a combination of three bloom effects make the game look gorgeous cuz of the lighting and shadows, and the most realistic looking Ive been able to get it. With everything mexed out, including distance scaling and shadows I can still get 40 to 50 fps in 4k and its easy to get lost just walking around lol. If I wanted to try PRSA and END with it again do you have any suggestions for the flickering? Thanks!

A lot of the big GTA streams struggled with NVE when it released last year. Most of them couldnt get the menu and commands to work. There were a lot of bugs with night time brightness. It was either a black void or nearly as bright as day time. Most ended up removing it. The few streamers that stuck with it though, their games look night and day campared to the ones with standard GTA visuals. Everything looks so crisp and clean. Its a wonder anyone would play without it.

I prefer Remastered. The image has more depth to it, the colors are more saturated, and the contrast is higher. Evolved has a plus regarding viewing distance and maybe some lighting, but that doesn't cut it for me.

Ok at 6:11 NVR is much darker than what it is for me when I use it. It could be just KZbin or you put the brightness down the the absolute max. If you don't know, you're supposed to put the brightness to halfway.

It could be your monitor's brightness because NVR was set up correctly as it should. A little bit darkness can be added by KZbin but its not much. There is nothing false or wrong in the video as it was approved by NVR and NVE staffs themselves.

I'm plaiyng GTA5 for the first time and with NVE from the start. It looks breathtaking sometimes, esp. at night in the city. I can't believe how awesome a game from 7 years ago can look.Though everything maxed out is too much for my RTX 2060S 1080p, barely 30fps at times.

NVR recommends downloading VisualV first, but NVE says nothing about it... do they still go together? I tried NVE with PRSA and unless I messed something up it didn't work.

NVE works best with its own ENB. Now if you do NVR, PRSA and MVGA Reshade, that looks pretty damn good

I don't know what all you used but NVR doesn't not look that bad with some tweaks. I currently Employ PRSA-ENB, NVR, Real Rage Graphic's Enhancer and Visual IV. And the graphic's with these additions outperformed NVE in numerous area's. NVE is mostly focused on small details lighting and miscellaneous aspects. Lighting you can fix yourself and it will look better too.

@@bamboo9666 Sadly, yes. There was a recent update (< 1 year ago) released to only some people. I was lucky to get my hands on the weathers from that through a "friend", but that's about it. I tried using both, NVE's and QuantV's weathers, and QuantV's looked better to me (some of them at least). I'm now using a mixture of 5 visual mods or so. Lmao (VisualV, QuantV, NVR, NVE, etc.)

NVR is too dark. This is the biggest flaw. But NVE is better in almost all aspects. Only advantage with NVR is it wont reduce performance of vanilla.

I found evolved to be buggy. There seems to be a glitch with vehicles here too on the road. After watching a lot of graphical mod videos, I think the draw distance of the traffic, foilage and pedestrians which exists in the normal game ruins the improvements. Too much pop up. There seems to be only one true extend draw distance mod, but I suspect it may no longer work, or not work with extensive graphical mods such as this one

Neither do, NVE just uses 3D Projection of objects that before weren't projected, for example the car and the water.
