J’ai conduit ces TGV sur ce parcours . Ces rames complexes au niveau dépannage étaient pourtant mes préférées pour leur confort et leur technique de conduite . À noter peu après le départ de Paris on peut voir la rame Izy à gauche ( rame transmanche verte ) utilisée par Thalys sur des Paris Bruxelles circulant par ligne classique de Paris à Arras .

I absolutely love the part at around 16 minutes when you show the train passing at the speed you're going at the time! I'll bet you had to stand about 10 feet or around 3 meters back or more, so the wind wouldn't blow you over!

It is how HSR *should* be shot. (Quite honestly, I'm surprised that HSR trainsets don't simply stick cameras in the front of the train and send it via wi-fi to all passengers as a freebie/loss leader; most HSR lines include free wi-fi, so it's not as if it would cost anything other than hardware costs to install the cameras.)

J'adore la partie entrée en section LGV, quand on passe de 160 à 230, puis au 300 km/h... Merci pour ce partage. Je le mets en bruit de fond et repasse en plein écran par moments. J'adore ce bruit de motrices Alstom. Celui des Siemens en ICE allemand est pas mal aussi.

The Avignon TGV line (also up on YT) is solid as well; different videographer. What I like about IT is it uses an overlay like a HUD; the lower right uses a Google Maps/Android Auto-style crawl representing the train. I'm paying attention to the TGV because this train is the older relative of the forthcoming Avelia Liberty (Acela Gen II) in the US. So far, not ONE of the various TGV lines is like the US NEC; they are closer to the Keystone line in eastern Pennsylvania - or the northern section of the NEC (between New London, CT and Boston, MA).

That is what smoothly-welded rail and concrete ties will do for passenger rail. (That isn't unique to the TGV lines; that is commonplace to HSR globally; The Japanese Skinkansen and US NEC use the same two components; which are being used for heavy rail *period* - globally; even freight railroads are going with the same tandem. (Example - CSX and Norfolk Southern - both in the eastern United States.)

I'm amazed that almost none of these cab ride videos show ANYTHING about the inside of the cab. Occasional pans through the cab showing controls and operator at work would add much interesting detail to what is essentially a boring ride unless the train is passing through spectacular scenery.

Quel beau voyage...cela me permet de voir des régions on je n'irais jamais,ce genre de vidéo me relaxe. Très bonne qualité de prise de vue,ça ne tremble pas,la définition est au maxi,ce qui permet de voir loin les détails à l'horizon,et l'image est fluide! Ce fut effectivement une bonne initiative! Qu'est qu'il peux y avoir comme pylônes porteur de câbles très haute tension dans ces régions,je trouve que ça agrémente le paysage,contrairement aux éoliennes...

Watching this video, it is very clear that the french government does not care much about any railway line that is not a TGV line. When you look at the infrastructure on the neighbouring non-TGV tracks, it looks like it has not been maintained for decades. It reminds me of how many of the railway lines in Eastern Germany looked during the late 80´s.

Xavier THOMAS Bonjour si vous êtes conducteur de train, j’aimerai savoir si moi qui a 14 ans (en 4ème, redouble 1 fois) que j’aimerai bien devenir conducteur de train mais je conte arrêter en fin de collège (avec brevet bien évidemment), est-ce que je peux faire ce métier sans avoir de bac ou autre juste avec un brevet ???

@@chryis il te faudra un bac, après que ça soit SNCF réseau ou mobilité avec un bac tu peux faire pas mal de formation puis monter (moins qu'avant) je te conseil donc un bac minimum bac +2 ça serait mieux quand même. Après moi je suis agent signalisation donc je peux pas t'en dire plus a part que la formation mécano est très complexe.

Très belle vidéo ! Merci pour la balade ! Je ne connaissais pas la section Douai / Somain, c'est fait ! Force est de revenir sur le sentiment d'abandon des infrastructures quand on voit l'état des voies de services sous caténaires envahies par des arbres de plus de 2 m de haut, et le désert des faisceaux de Somain et Valenciennes, entre autres. Et on vient nous gonfler avec "la nouvelle SNCF" à partir du 1er janvier 2020 ! Ca va être beau, je pense.....

Super vidéo j'en attendais une belle comme ça depuis longtemps ! Image stable, de qualité, bon son, rien à redire. @@MS61R Malheureusement ce n'est pas prêt de changer, cela serait beaucoup trop sensible de montrer comment conduire un TGV ! un conducteur l'avait fait il y a quelques années dans le sud et ça chaine à disparu peu de temps après... Le terme VISA signifie VItesse Sécuritaire d'Approche, nous sommes en visa des la vue de l'avertissement (feu jaune fixe) car l'avertissement peu entre autre annoncer un signal d'arrêt (Carré, Sémaphore), elle nous impose d'être à 30km/h au plus tard à 200m du signal d'arrêt annoncé et nous sommes libéré de la VISA des que la tête du train franchit un signal au feu vert.

If you haven't tried it already, you should display the map with the route again, and another line indicating where the train goes from and to ;-) you could also display the map in one of the corners during the ride, so viewers can see where you go
