Happy 4th Sunday of Advent! We have saved the best for last - literally.
Mariana Iturralde grows coffee at astounding heights! Almost 2.5 km above sea level. At this elevation, everything grows slower, which is a plus if you are producing coffee.
A long and slow ripening period contributes to the incredible intensity and delicate acidity which we find in this coffee, along with a distinct complexity and a wave of fleeting aromas.
Despite growing coffee in such a challenging area, Mariana has managed to produce one of the best-tasting coffees we have come across at Coffee Collective.
Very intense and complex aroma. Clean and honey-sweet with delicate acidity. Notes of apricot, jasmine, and bergamot.
