Yeah their speed surprises me everytime I get to see them. Especially when it rained I was shocked at the speeds they were still managing. And the sound... Even with ear protection they were at times still painfully loud!

Most of these GT40s (perhaps all of them) partcipating in the Spa six hours, are 'exact' reconstructions of the original GT40. These reconstructions need to comply with the FIA appendix of this period. They definitely have some subtle improvements compared to the GT40 of 1964/1965.

@@rjhelt5648 True, mostly Superformance and Gelscoe cars or ''tool room copies''. But the 4 cars I focused on in this video are all original GT40's with the Roadster being an incredibly rare 1 of 4 prototype.

@@AlwinSV thank you, I did not know that. The roadster that ran in the 1965 Targa Florio, is simply gorgeous. Really appreciate to see that roadster with wirewheels.
