5/28/22 Pacific Skiffs! Capitola to Santa Cruz. 2 keeper Lings 1 rockfish. Coast guard stopped us.

Launched the Seneca power Dory from the Santa Cruz harbor, took the trip to Capitola crossing the yellow can bouys. Caught two keeper lings and headed back to Santa Cruz reefs and hooked up on a rockfish, then got checked by the coast guard.

16 is good cause coast guard always says switch to 11 for radii check. Who monitors 11?

You have to measure it with the mouth closed. That doesn’t look like a keeper

@@robertwing566 nice man! I’m building the tiburon panga right now, Jeff was a great person, he would quickly respond to my emails. If you’re on the boat builders group on Facebook that Jeff created, post some photos of your build!

@@robertwing566 they where boarding everyone that day, I guess it was a routine thing to make sure all the boats are in compliance. I cut the video short but they held us for close to 25 minutes
