That's definitelly matter of practice. I remember me starting playing priest (holy). I couldn't even heal 5 ppl in dungeons and then when I became more skilled, confident and just chilled I had no problems with healing 25 man raids. Once you do some fight several times it becomes much easier than it was first time.

1] Power Infusion is also i nice spell to put on top dps in boss fights where you don't need to heal as much or when you have great healers to cover that hard moments in boss fights. 2] you can track healing plus absorbs in skada, not just healing :)

Using PoM off cd on the tank, helps alot with tank damage and helps maximize your Healing output.

Get some heirlooms. Once at lvl15 use Dungeon Finder as healer and you will get instant access, almost no wait... you get tons of XP and gear in dungeons. You gain about 1 level par dungeon in the beginning. Its kwaizy!

good guide overall but you should be popping spirit shell and "blanket" absorbing people about 5-10 seconds before that aoe is going to hit, if it falls nicely into place by the time your spirit shell cd if off the damage from the boss's aoe is hitting the raid allowing you to heal through the dmg as well as you getting the FULL benefits from your spirit shell you applied earlier, ALSO you cant pad heal since 5.2 seing as Devin aegis is a crit only now

I personally find Disc EASIER for 10, having only 2 groups to stack massive SS on, holy for 25 with Echo of Light on lots of people. As far as output, I think its Disc still for 25 at most, but it depends how well you play both specs. With the rework, you just spend a lot more mana as disc in 25, so you need higher spirit.

Sadly, as a raiding Disc priest, all I can see in this guide are all the things he's doing wrong or simply not explaining. There's a large difference in playstyle depending on raid or group size, such as the fact that Atonement is -extremely- effective in a 10-man setting but using DA and SS to blanket your raid is much better for 25-man healing. Atonement is actually also one of the more mana efficient ways to heal so long as you keep Evangelism stacks up.

What he's failing to mention is that he's probably in about a 485+ iLvl, while Preach was running around a 463 ish. Show me the world of logs of him doing that 60k in holy in the same gear as Preach and then start talking.

Preach said he loved leveling his s priest do I thought I'd give it a try even though I generally don't like dotting. After leveling to 25 I realized that no matter what Preach says, I still think it's #DOGSHIT.

You are joking aren't you? Even after 5.2 Disc Priests are only outshined HPS wise by a well played Paladin. I normally (with low damage) run 65k HPS and on heavy damage hit around 80-85. Best Holy Priest I have seen runs around 50k. Shoo fly, go away.

I use to play Runes of magic back in the day,when they nerfed they destroyed classes and didn't even give a fuck lol. Every time that game had a patch or a nerf it made the game worse. So glad my friend talked me into playing WoW.
