Since I have only met Shadow and Jackie this year, seeing the brief replay about their baby made me feel like I missed out on so much. It was so touching to see how much they love her. It will be so exciting to see the next baby/babies this winter.

Thank you FOBBV. I think about her all the time. The photo/video montage is so good. Perfect music. I noticed the low lake water level 2022. I'm happy that the lake is so full for our eagle family. Spirit is the perfect name for her. I remember how feisty she was- especially with her dad. I loved how they raised her that way. I hope that this is on the public Facebook page.

From day one I knew there was and is something special about Spirit. I saw a craving for life and a curiosity that knows no end. What a privilege to have witnessed Spirit grow and test her mom and dad who are such masters they set the example for Spirit and tested her instead. You passed Spirit! The camera has been adjusted and maintained through the years to keep it in a good position to see the eagles and the nest.

Spirit was not banded so we have no way of knowing where she might be. Eagles can fly around nomadically until they reach maturity at 4 or 5 when they find a mate to reproduce. At this time, we do not know where she is.
