The fact that you mention superhot is so fitting for Harlequins, or most eldar with the idea of view all of combat in a slow motion. What would be kinda cool is when you're fighting imperials that includes custodes, and while everyone else is moving in slow motion, the custodes just move slightly slower than you or equal to your speed as a form of increased difficulty.

A Solitaire is one of the few character choices in this universe where you can claim to reliably kill Custodes, plural, and this would finally give Eldar fans a modern game! Another idea is that a Harlequin once dueled an Eversor Assassin, I think it was, through a noble's palace, killing everything around them during their duel. The Harlequin is injured by the Assassin but eventually "wins" by killing the noble, the Assassin, and himself with the Assassin's implanted failsafe bomb. What this tells me is that Assassins can be bosses and/or mini-bosses in this game. Now, I don't think that was a Solitaire... but I'm not too sure. Still, though. Additionally, with the Custodes having learned from the Harlequins dancing into the Palace the last time, I assume they'll be harder now - not so much as to be unbeatable, because once in a while we get situations such as two Custodes dying to one plasma gun shot in a novel because power scaling is hard.

​@@jamessquirrell1994personally I would prefer the enforcer units include space Marines for a couple reasons, one, There's too many unique space Marine chapters to have them all be heros 2 Hero's usually have limit caps and I wanna have atleast 6-8 space Marine buddies. And I would rather that be the norm than some special like friend group, group decision kind of thing. 3. Primarchs, and special named space Marines would make more sense and be cooler for people involved in the lore that's just my opinion from a BF2 Veteran

Another idea, a city builder for a Craftworld, right after the Fall of the Eldar, which would resemble a mix between Frostpunk and an RTS, replacing the cold with demonic infection right after the Eye opened. The RTS aspect would be for the inevitable Demonic incursions on your Craftworld, it'd be neat to see what the Eldar used to defend themselves before the Aspect Warriors appeared.

I think the Trazyn Pokémon game would be absolutely peak if it ended in a Trazyn vs Trazyn boss fight after the player’s Trazyn tries to go back in time to save the Necrontyr vase that broke in his fight with Orikan

Open it with an unwinnable boss fight against a Trazyn who claims to be from the future, which motivates him to do the whole game, then close the loop by him wondering "Wait, why did that future me do all this?" have him realize 'The vase!' and go back in time so now you get a comedic stomp fest of a post final boss battle. (The final boss being some fight vs a C'Tan throwing shards at you, a bonus battle post this being a fight vs Orokan where the gimmick is you either do as he predicts or, if you've broken with 'his' timeline too many times, he resets the fight. So it's a 'what things do I need to change?' puzzle.)

Only problem there would be that not killing them is usually the harder route, and hence why it garners more points. Guess the easiest solution to that would be to not have silenced weapons. Sort of like when you trying doing a stealth run in a game where stealth isn’t meant to be an option (Helldivers for example).

For the longest time, I have wanted to see Star Wars Battlefront, but with 40K. Massive battles with a bunch of players on each side as different factions fight for victory around iconic locations in 40K lore. I mean, how goddamn cool would it be to play a Guardsman on the ground escorting an Imperial Knight as you push through lines of Chaos Cultists.

Always had a big dream for a Guard vs Nid game. 4 guard players who play like any other normal co-op. And then. 50 tyranid players who can't talk, with 1 player acting as the hive mind who can talk to them all and buff, upgrade etc. Like give X player a carnifex on spawn.

Interesting idea for an asymmetric game (like the Chainsaw or other 4 v 1 games). My idea was something more so like alien isolation and games similar to it. Play as a single guard left alive after a battle went horribly wrong (which is probably common in 40K) against Tyranids. You would try to make your way through a story campaign, avoiding the larger tyranids and killing smaller ones, etc. Would definitely bring that horror aspect of the tyranids.

40K Surgeon simulator, where you play as a Space Marine Apothecary and perform Geneseed Implants. Lower levels are the stable Geneseeds like Ultrasmurfs and Iron Fists. Harder levels are the more unstable variants like Blood Angel, Space Wolf, and Raven Guard. Top levels are Grey Knight and Chimeric Chapters (like the Charcaradons) And once you've hit max level Alpha Plus, you're handed the Emperor's Secret Recipe and have to make a Custode. And then in an expansion or Sequel, do it all again with the Chaos Legions.

Somewhat random idea, but what about a 40k themed educational game for kids? You play as an Administratum Adept and go about your job by answering various maths and spelling questions, and every time you get a question wrong it results in dire consequences. At the end of each session, you get a summary of how many people died as a result of any mistakes you made. If you have a perfect score, your character gets a rewards along the lines of an extra 5 minutes of sleep or 3 additional beans with their breakfast.

OK 40k game idea let's go First one horror game: in this game, you are a simple human task of helping the Inquisition but during your job, something has gone terribly wrong and monster have escape. It will be your job to survive and call for help from the wider Imperium (I was thinking it will be a mixture of both resident evil and alien isolation) Second one roguelike game: so this is kind like your tyranid game but instead it will be Necron. in this game you will be an Overlord who has just woken up to find he is the only one and his tomb to be broken but he hears voice in his head, it's his cryptek tell him the state of the tomb world and the battle that is going on the surface. with the help of the cryptek it is the job of the Overlord to restore his tomb world in his journey he will be help by other cryptek with other disciplines or find his lych guard third one tactical fps: in this game you are an arbites in a hive city that has gone to chaos (not the warp chaos) it is your job with your other fellow arbites to bring order on your way you will have to be careful becuase you don't know what caused this chaos and as you go on you will be approach by gang member who wants to fight or maybe join you in your quest it will be up to you to decide if they can be trusted so yeah those are 3 of my idea sorry if it's long

Ooh those ideas are all great, I’d love a 40K horror game. Darktide has a great atmosphere for a horror games, even if you’re a bit too powerful for it to be too spooky (at least imo). I’d really like if you were sneaking around and hiding from either flayed ones or there’s a chaotic incursion and there’s a night lord or something chasing you down similar to Mr X or something. Also I love the rouge like idea, I’d imagine you’d collect some of your old possessions/gear as you awaken more of your tomb or something, maybe it could even be something more RTS like where you amass an army. A rouge like RTS could potentially be interesting lol. That last idea sounds like a judge dredd game and that would be wicked cool. I’m thinking a gameplay mix of ready or not and necromunda hired fun can be cool. A bit more arcadey than ready or not, but still tactical. Thanks for watching and sharing your pitches! Just saw the first idea after mentioning my idea on another post. Love the concept and feel like 40K needs a good horror video game. My idea would have involved the Guards and the Tyranids. Love the inquisition and the one guy who loves exterminatis (which brings up the idea of trying to escape the inevitable exterminatis as the main story point), but I feel like a Guardsman would be a little scarier. Would bring about a closer feel of a normal guy trying to survive against a large threat (similar to alien isolation, although being able to kill the smaller threats and potentially large threats would be nice). The Tyranids aspect is just because they are naturally scary and deserve more of that.

I think a typical fighting game could be a great fit with one caveat: it’s Orks talking about major threats, and their boasting about their wins leads to it being morphed versions of the real thing. Like ‘Ole Baleeye’ having a literal laser beam, like Ryu in the Marvel Versus Capcom games

An idea I've had bouncing around in my head for a while now has been "Ascension Day". Take the gameplay formula from Star Wars Battlefront and pit the Astra Militarum against the Genestealer Cults as they rise up and try to take the world. You start the match as a Guard Rifleman/Neophyte Hybrid in squads (like Battlefield) and as you play and earn tickets you can respawn as stronger units, like Kasrkin and Scions or Acolytes and Metamorphs. You have Commissar vs Primus, Psyker vs Magus, Bullgryn vs Aberrant. Both sides have plenty of troop variety, weapon variety, and enough heroes to choose from I think it would be an incredibly fun game.

The 40K game I really want is basically just battlefront 2 with a war hammer coat of paint. All the regular soldiers would be the lower level troops like guardsmen, fire warriors, and cultists. All the elites/heros would be stuff like space marines aspect warriors, terminators and some tanks thrown in.

My idea would be a massive ship battle simulator, where you command your necron vessel inside and can switch between a cryptek to repair ship functions, a pilot like an immortal and dock, where you control the troops from the ship as a nemezor and maybe go into the pov of the soldiers and fight too. Idk how that would be programmed but sounds nice. Maybe you are a pharon that is controlling his troops.

Edge of Tomorrow style First Person shooter where you play as a Guardsmen fighting Orks in a hive city. Your Guardsmen is a psyker and every time you are killed and it reloads your check point it’s explained away as a premonition of the future. Your Guardsmen is puny and weak and the Orks are monstrous and brutal, not just goofy football hooligans. One shot and you’re dead. One axe chop and you’re dead. Realist gore, destructive environments, a melee system where if you parry or block with your las rifle it will be cut in half. Game play comes from learning how to read the flow of a battle, knowing where to position yourself within the mass of battling guardsmen to best survive an assault

Payday/hitman with the assasinorum. 4 player coop everyone can choose any class of assasins, you have to take out a guy ranging from an out of line general to a T'au ethereal. Or xcom gene stealers vs chaos cult. Build your base, get new recruits, sabotage the planetary govenor or your rival. The 4 endings are, your cult cumbles from bad manadgement, an Inquisitor finds you, the Tyranids arrive or a massive warp portal opens

A game about the titans where you fight other giant titans, you can choose different factions like the Imperium of Man, Chaos, Eldar, T'au, Ork, Tyranid, etc. There will be a tech tree ranging from small scout titans to the giant city sized ones. (Also, the 4th one would make more sense if it was the Officio Assassinorum.)

I DESPERATELY want an Ork slice-of-life game, a Grand Theft Auto style game in a detailed Ork settlement, really drill down to the level they haven't touched since Waaaagh! Da Orks Start off as a wildboy, unlock a clan-specific upgrade tree or go Freebooter, join a household, take over, make a name for yourself, do favours for Bosses until you take over as da Big Boss, then Warboss. Clan-specific missions and NPC relationships, interaction with vassal settlements, the works

@@KrakDuk it would be the same anarchic vibe as a lot of GTA stuff, so it's really not a big stretch from games that already exist =) And the visual aesthetic could easily be stylized to avoid the game looking dated by virtue of graphics creep. Maybe revive the cel-shaded graphics trend for a bit of a comicbook look

Doom Eternal but as an Eversor Assassin. You’re on a time limit before those combat drugs that make you move faster, hit harder, and shoot better turn your insides into your outsides, but killing will buy you time. Have a Hotline Miami-style combo meter that stacks a multiplier on top of the time you get per kill and some insane movement (like Titanfall 2 taken to 11) and you’re set for a rip-snorting good time

a cool idea i had was game of a custodian in a blood game. a sort of combat like game with some style of puzzle solving from movement puzzles to actual puzzles and combat "puzzles" avoiding groups of custodians hunting you or being able to figure out a way to disable them to escape or progress

Also on the Custodes game idea as described, this really reminds me of the game Metal Hellsinger (idk if you've ver heard of it) but it is effectively what you are describing. A fighting rhythm game, where your shots and slashes have to be on point with the music giving you bonuses for doing so. The idea is actually really solid and would be pretty fun.

I've been thinking that a Conan Exiles style open world survival/crafting game with Orks could be damn good if done right. You start off as a feral yoof on an Imperial planet, clobber together some rudimentary basic gear, level up, growing bigger and tuffer, "recruit" your fellow Orks by krumping, unlock crafting options by finding mekboyz and other specialists, and build up your base in preparation for the eventual PDF purging expeditions (and collect their donations of extra dakka). It could also include an elaborate crafting system bordering on an engineering minigame with kustom-built weapons, vehicles and other gadgets. Like many other games of this genre, it could be played either in single player or on multiplayer servers almost like an MMO, and inter-tribe PVP would very much be on the table. I know it's probably very ambitious, but if it was done well, I could see myself clocking thousands of hours on it.

I actually would suggest for the fighting game idea, keeping the idea for it being a more traditional 2d style. But hear me out: Incorporate a Tatsunoko vs Capcom style tag system, Where Different characters are larger, and in turn are Slower, much more powerful (maybe have Super armour on all their attacks aswell), and have twice/triple the healthpool of each individual normal sized fighter. I mean, While the classic duel is iconic to 40k, So is the grandiose fight of 1/2/3 people vs a colossal entity. I mean, Imagine a Space Marine Captain, A freeboota big mek and a guard captain (complete with guardsmen being called in) teaming up against something like Angron, Where every strike they can do chips down his health, all the while any strike from angron if not dodged or blocked could decimate an unprepared fighter.

Personally thinking of a space RPG/Spaceship manager simulator You can pick whether you wish to start the game as a human pirate, an Eldar corsair, an Ork freebooter, a Squat prospector, a Tau outcast, a Genestealer Hybrid magus, or a freshly awoken Necron lord. I remember me and a friend of mine had two sorta similar ideas. One was where you play as a krieger in a roguelike who keeps fighting stronger enemies until you get to say Angron or Magnus or some form of Daemon. Every time you die, you come back as a different kriegsman and you gain more glory or war fervor to upgrade your platoon to give permanent upgrades. The other idea was some kind of soulslike where you play as a Space Marine (or catachan/cadian guardsman idk) and do something similar with a fromsoft coat of paint

Sniper Elite/Metal Gear style Assassinorum game where you get a series of missions and on each mission you can play as one of the six major temples and you use each's different specialties to complete the mission in different ways. Let's say you play as a vindicare where the objective is to kill both a single target and a large crowd of heretics down below. You get more points the less rounds you use, to complete the mission you could sit in one spot, load a turbo-penetrator round, and wait for a huge shipment of munitions to be carried over the crowd by a crane, you fire which severs the cable, punches through a wall and kills the target, while the munitions explode and kill the group below. And each assassin could do the same missions so say an Eversor would get points by speedrunning through the mission, maybe slaughtering the crowd before blowing up the target's tower with some melta bombs.

That would be really cool, I like the idea of being able to use any house for the missions. I can see people making fun challenges of trying to make an eversor work on a more stealth oriented mission or something like that. There could also be a lot of strategic depth if you had a bunch of different toolboxes. here are my grains of sand for the pool: A caravan simulator/shooter/resources admin hybrid based on Caipahas Cain's "death or glory" novel were you must return to ally lines while gathering resources and survivors to achieve victory, but the thing is as long as Cain lives you win (you have diferent levels of success if he returns with all the survivors or none of them, if he returns as a hero a coward or a stoic survivor and the absolute worst ending appears if you lose Jurgen). A Metal Gear style game with a empirium campaign playing as the raven guard infiltrating to destroy a super weapon (extra points for not being discovered) and a traitor campaign were you play as a night lord infiltrating an empireal strong hold (extra points for leaving gruesome proof of your acts, kind of like a power booster) complete both runs with S rank and you unlock the secret alpha legion campaign, against loyals or traitors? yes. A Jurassic World Evolution clone but instead of dinosaur you hatch tyranids, you use magos biologist to feed tham and heal them and deathwatch marines for containment. You can also research the hive mind to con trol it and understand it or risk to facilitate the end of all life in the galaxy. Indiana Jones game but instead of Indy is Trazyn the Infinite. An interactive enyclopedia of the galaxy narrated by Trazyn the Infinite. Visual novel (romance all the ships you want) with story lines such as: a tech priest falling in love with another tech priest/common citizen/insert here random "machine spirit", kharn and argel tal/lotara sarrin, fulgrim and ferrus, dantioch and pollux, septimus and octavia, guilliman and ivrayne, celestine and grayfax, trazyn and orichan, a sister of battle and anyother character (i know you would) an eldar and anyother character (i know you would), shadowsun and kitten/farsight, ghazkull and yarrick, cain and vail/jurgen, a krieg soldier and the farm girl from that fan-comic, nurgle and isha, khorne and khaine, slaanesh and jagathai khan, ephrael stern and kyganil. You get the idea. A game were you play as Vaguard Obyron stoping plots to kill loveable Nemesor Zandhrek.

My dream Warhammer 40k game: Aeldari Souls-like, Metroidvania! You play as an Aeldari Autarch of a random Craftworld that is under siege by Chaos (probably Slaanesh). In lore, Autarchs have gone down every Aspect Warrior path, so in game, you'd be able to use all kinds of Aelderi weapons and items. The basic combat would be like Dark Souls, lots of dodging and fighting tough enemies. Obtaining new weapons and items can be used to unlock new areas of the Craftworld, like Metroid. The atmosphere of the Craftworld would be pretty dire and hopeless, like Dark Souls. You'd meet a lot of crestfallen NPCs, like Guardian Defenders and civilians. You can collect Soulstones off the fallen Aelderi and trade them with the Spiritseers for blessings and upgrades. I can go on and on, lol! Anyways, Great video, man! :)

Which slowly upgrades from random cumtists to traitor guard, to a marine or two, to a demon. forcing you to run away

I think an imperial navy game were you play as a captain would be really cool! I imagine it would be like a city management game along with xcom (sending in armsmen to deal with threats and stuff), and all at the same time, you have to fight battles with your ship! Imagine you get boarded by Emperor-knows-what and the Breachers ready a firing line as a door gets Breached and the alarms all go off! I think it would be amazing to see!

My ideas for 40k games would be to take a more soulslike approach. Imagine a game where you play as Lion El Johnson returning to the 41st millennium following the journey to reunite the fallen. Players will have the ability to upgrade his sword, shield and power armor and battle Angron as the final boss. Another idea is that a game following Ahriman trying to find knowledge to restore the thousand sons. Players can mix and match spells like summons (pink horrors, flamers, screamers), nukes such as psychic lightning or even time manipulation (rewinding time a few seconds to negate an attack). He would be able to summon a disk to ride long distances. The third act can be taken place in the black library. A game following Maugan Ra would also be awesome follwing his journey to rescue Craftworld Altansar from the warp. He could fight Shalaxi Hellbane as the final boss. And finally an open world (Elden ring style) game where you get to play as a Harlequin Solitaire traveling to different worlds like Commorragh, a hive city, a craftworld completing tasks. Players will get to fight an Eversor Assassin as a boss.

Battlefield game where you play as guardsmen, chaos guardsmen, orks and necrons. Elite units from each factions being special call ins/heroes similar to battlefront's. You get to drive leman russ tanks, crush buildings, fly valkyries, drive scout sentinels,pick your loadouts, have 4-5 different classes per faction, pick up enemy weapons... And each map is representing a different battle. You get to play as the steel legion fighting in the trenches and defending armageddon against the Orks, or play as the black legion assaulting a Cadian Kasr for the 1167th time. You'd even get to watch as a Necron tbags your gauss'd corpse with his tin balls after going 0-11

One video game idea I’ve had is a persona or xcom style Orks game. Make your Waaagh! Each companion a different psychopath from each clan. And if they wanted to do the insert romance options shit instead of actual romance it’s just a squig side game that’s basically just a pet sim

I was thinking maybe adopting a similar format to Borderlands. Not necessarily in terms of art style or humour but in the general structure of having 4-6 options for playable characters with single player and co-op mode. The twist is each playable character comes from a different part of the Imperium, so there could be a space marine, but also a sister of battle, maybe a custode. This would allow it to still sell on the popularity and recognizability of space marines while simultaneously leaving room to focus on other material. It could also have good story potential- disparate soldiers not used to working together having to put aside their differences for a shared cause. I had an idea for a setup as well. I was thinking it starts with a high-priority mission that doesn’t go as planned. Most of the Imperium’s military forces end up being wiped out. The player characters are the only known survivors who have to figure out how to survive long enough to finish the job, finding unity in their shared devotion to the emperor.

Hear me out, and it is probably an idea suggested often. Battlefield/Battlefront but 40k. For balancing you can play as Imperial Guard, Eldar, Chaos Cultists (Or gene stealer cult), Orks, and/or T'au. The game allows people to use the big scary vehicles like Battlefield. Objective based, sort of like Conquest, Operations, TDM, etc. I was thinking that there are 4 classes. Infantry: Run of the Mill and Ranged Focused. Can get Basic infantry arms, like Autoguns, Shotguns, Pulse Rifles, Shootas, etc. that will be good for assaults and pitched fire fights. Support: Fire support and power weapons. Stubbers, Volley Guns, Rocketlauncers, Sniper Rifles, etc. Officer: Offers buffs to allies and uses stuff like Plasma Pistols, Autopistols, Revolvers, and more. And finally a Brute or Melee type class. These guys are dedicated to melee, but also have a ranged weapon that is weak, but against groups they are a huge threat. All classes have a ranged and melee, but each one has more prowess in ranged or melee. Alternatively it would also be interesting to maybe spec your character to how you want to play and focus on melee, small arms, and heavy weapons. Finally there be hero type classes. You get enough points or something you can become something like a Space Marine, Stealth Suit, Harlequin, and all that. Units that can be a huge threat if left unchecked. For the sake of keeping it 40k, weapons are faction specific, but ideally the base starting weapon is balanced to the other base starting weapons, but all classes wield weapons suitable to counter one another or have a equal shot at fighting the enemy.

A classic Halo inspired 40k game where you play as a salamander who’s just a good bloke. To fill the gap left by modern halo for the slower, methodical shooters with slow TTK, no sprint etc. Enemy choice would be difficult, as you’d need the variety required to mimic halo’s engaging enemy variety (like the Orks or Khaos maybe), but they would also have to use projectile/energy weapons of some kind so not everything is hitscan (more like the Tau). Multiplayer would be basically a carbon-copy of Halo’s, only with different options for armour customisation (I.e. black Templar torso and legs go those flowing drapes, khorn marine arms with an exposed bicep and a raven guard helmet).

Counterpoint to the Kasrkin game: Ravenguard/Alpha Legion. Have a game where you either play as a detachment of Warp-Lost Alpha Legionnaire Headhunters or a group of Ravenguard Scout Marines/Vanguard Primaris fighting against equally competent Chaos/Imperium forces. I think a good place to start would be the Raven Guard idea with them going to punish Night Lords, Alpha Legion (Chaos), or other more Conventional/Tactical Marine groups- though as I am partial to the Alpha Legion, having them fight against fellow Alpha Legionnaires who are far more deep into the Chaos Kool-Aid while also dealing with Imperial forces hounding you as well would be an interesting narrative as well. Hell you could even rock it with an almost RPG-like choice making system (For the Alpha Legion) where you can choose between loyalties. Also making use of Mortal Assets (which could also be done for the Raven Guard as well)

A night lords game would also be fun. It'd be like the batman arkham games, using stealth and fear tactics, except you actually kill people. I envision it as using their tactics like they did during the great crusade, taking down entire hive cities through fear and assassination. you go on missions taking out planetary governers and dealing with the Arbites and Guard defenders, sabbotaging mechanicus factories, etc. It would also be a good raven guard game but I just think the added brutaility of the night lords and how you're trying to be as terrifying as possible really lends itself to that stealth gameplay, like you are the horror monster

One of my ideas I had for years is that a city builder as an imperial planetary governor, where you build a newly colonized world and can turn it to the point of a hive world. but I haven’t figured out conflicts or war, but was thinking as how the chapter master mod did combat. I believe this is possible due to how like frost punk 2 beta where you build districts instead of buildings. Also a full chapter master game would be awesome. Another is a mount and blade like game where you can play as most factions, like chaos, orks, imperial.
