What is needed to bring humanity together isn't a battle against the might of an entire alien race, but a skirmish against a bunch of alien privateers or third rate power. A small alien colony or a merchant company try to invade without the Galactic police finding out and only use civilian gear. Basically we get invaded by a couple of technicals and fishing boats, not an battlefleet.

Well the force and brutality part is right, but the ancientness is not. The Mongol Empire isn't exactly ancient as such. Quite recent, actually. Try, ancient Egyptians, Hittites or ancient Chinese, for a better comparison. Medieval era Mongols are old and long ago but not ancient. Just quite old. Even the Roman Empire was relatively young, having been preceded by many other Empires, from around the world. The Rakatan are more similar to the aforementioned, but also could be compared to the ancient Greeks to some extent; building wonders ahead of their time but then becoming a footnote in some else's history for the most part)

We know u rather use Earth based firearms in the Star Wars galaxy during the Galactic Republic era before or during 22 BBY, but what kinds of firearms you think will be practical, tactical and reliable when dealing with Jedi, Judicial Forces and Clone troopers? If I were you, I will bring 6 deadly firearms with me. They are: Heckler & Koch Mark 23 45ACP pistol, KRISS VECTOR 45ACP Submachine Gun GEN II model, FN SCAR H CQC (Close Quarters Combat) Battle rifle, Mk 13 Mod 0 Grenade Launcher and Barrett M107A150BMG anti material sniper rifle CQB model.

I always wonder if the Battle of Yavin 4 was not supposed to be a callback to the Battle of Route Colonial Quatre (RC4). Although it was not an air battle, as Yavin 4 was a space engagement, RC4 was pitting one of the great colonial powers, France, against the resistance movement known as the Viet Minh. And, the reaction after the Viet Minh's victory at RC4 was overwhelming. First, the French were psychologically and politically crippled, as support for the war reached its first major low. Secondly, the engagement proved that the French could be beaten in a pitched set-piece battle by the Viet Minh. Finally, the Viet Minh launched the Red River Campaign afterwards, which overstretched their logistical capabilities but did not result in their destruction, just like the Rebel Alliance's movements towards the Inner Rim.

I want to know more about life on Coruscant during the fall of the Empire. Basically after the Battle of Endor. I know that civil war started there and that it became so severe that the planet was ruined so badly that they had to move the capital to Hosnian Prime. I know Mas Amedda was trapped there. If you have not read Darth Bane then I recommend that you do. In the book the sith are not trapped in the cave system they choose to go down there to lure the Jedi into a trap. Which is a trap created by Darth Bane. It also talks about the division in the Jedi. Great book go read it.

Well, it was a strategic victory as well as tactical victory for the Republic as well as the Jedi involved in it. However, more holistically we could regard the Battle of Geonosis as a symbolic defeat for the Republic as well as the Jedi. That is what you're referring to here. And lets face it, Darth Sidious was puppeteering everyone anyway so concepts like victory are relatively shallow in the Clone Wars; because it was essentially Palpatine playing with toy soldiers while making a mockery of democracy.

I would suspect the lack of use of Clones and Droids post Clone Wars was a combination of cost and time. Droids are usually expensive, and if not expensive, incompetent and useless. A lot easier to buy blasters and train regular troops. Clones are also expensive, require expert cloners (rare after the sack of Kamino by Vader), and worst of all, take years to become available. If you want troops right here right now, you go for traditional soldiers.

Lord Hoth did not go into the caves to stop them from detonating the bomb. He went in there to make sure they detonate it. Not only that because of the threat presented by the 100 Jedi the thought bomb was it detonated before it could reach its full power and kill every force-user on the planet.
